VAC does that mean if they do get caught and hacks do exist they lose steam accounts?

Did you ever see WarZ in Alpha/Beta? It was horrendous

It might be a more solid game NOW but not when at a similar stage of development

I think the point he was making was loot respawned and so did zombies, you know the basics

means there steam will be banned on the same engined games.

also alpha is for testing and making things right. people will hack just like they do in bf games and cod games. you cant stop that .

Theyve Cleary spent a long time, perhaps longer than they thought bending the engine to do what it needs to do. I dont think right now blocking external scripts is a massive priority because of the alpha status and the frequency of db wipes that will happen. I do however find it even sadder than ever that people would bother to cheat in a game that is in a state like DayZ currently is.

You can't test a game if some dirty Russian hacker won't let you spawn.

Indeed but its not every person, every spawn is it. How many times have you died to a skiddie in SA?

In stand alone atm, none.

DayZ Mod did because completely unplayable though and you ended up having to play on custom whitelisted servers.
