Games you're playing, and games...

I'm nearly done with ng+ in black myth wukong and this time I have done all the secrets. I've just found the final piece of armour in the last chapter.

I have entoria to test out tomorrow which I'm looking forward to. I wish ufo 50 was out on psn I may get it for my laptop just to try it out from steam it looks really cool.

Playing a couple of old games I have been meaning to for years. So I played and completed Outlast yesterday and I am now onto outlast 2. I really enjoyed the first and the second is equally creepy and nasty. I can see though that RE7 and Village were heavily influenced by these games.

After a recommendation from the other thread bought Astrobot Friday and got the Plat Monday morning. What an amazing way to show how the PS5 could be used more and the nostalgia hits in the game make it perfect.

If anybody is interested… Balatro is now free on Apple Arcade for iOS and iPadOS. Great deck builder, and it plays well on my iPad !

Finished off Entoria - I cycled it to ng+ but I will wait to see if it gets pro support before replaying it.

A solid 7.5 out of 10 from me - decent soulslike but does have a bit of jank - considering the lower price it was very good.

Halfway through the Front Mission 2 remake on Switch.
Never played the original but it very much feels like a straight port with perhaps some new textures - it doesn't play as well as the prior release.

I rolled the credits on the Space Marine 2 main campaign. I can now finally start the bit I know I will enjoy more - operations (mainly because of the rpg style progression and co-oping with randoms). I'm maining a tactition with the plasma style rifle with charged shots and the bog standard bolt side and chainsaw.

I might be good at soulslikes but I'm a total blueberry at this, even though I played on easy the campaign was tough. I'm hoping it will get easier in operations as I level up.

Jumped back into Helldivers 2 last weekend and have been having a lot of fun. The big patch really sorted things out and I feel like I can take virtually any loadout while having a decent time of things.

Recently bought Quake on Xbox for a bit of a blast from the past since it was on offer. Not as easy on the pad as it used to be on the PC with the mouse :p

Finally finished cyberpunk! Got it back in 2020, played it up to the point of the final mission about 3 times (first as male V, then as female V, then as male again with the v2.0 patch) before starting afresh again for the recent (ish) expansion :D

For this 4th playthrough I opted to go the Panam ending, after reading it was the best, but I have a save just before starting the final bit, so sampled the Arisaka one to the point of killing Adam Smasher. Might load it up over winter and try the ending with Reed, just to see what it's like.

An epic game, awesome stories, and it always blew me away just how good it looked and how it seemed (to me) to hold an easy 60fps.

10/10 imo

Will keep my eyes peeled for whenever Stellar Blades comes down to 35 quid, and grab that next

Caved in and bought the remaster of Broken Sword - loved the game when it came out on the original PlayStation, and also had it on PC way back.
It looks so good with the redrawn artwork! Here’s a tip : you can switch between visual modes (old/new) with the R3 button on the fly while playing !
