Is the MLM good/worth it? Could be tempted to part with more cash for that

I think so. Accuracy is pretty good, the shot tracer is good too, I always like seeing a replay of my shanks :p

It’s very easy to setup, and connection was not much of an issue. It’s a good tool to dip your toes into if you are looking to get into launch monitor territory.

FINALLY got over a bit of a mental block - breaking 80 at my home course. SO many times I've been 6 or 7 over coming to the 16th - then dropped a few shots over 3 holes. Finally put it together on Friday - the 17th is a tricky one, dogleg right but with OB right as well - so I chunked a hybrid, then a decent 5 iron into the green - couple of putts for par. Then took a 6 on the par 5 18th, for a 78. First time when playing with others (shot a 79 solo a couple of months ago) - what's more satisfying is that @Maccy and I won our match 7&6 - we're going to have to start giving our regular opponents shots

7&6 that's a proper beating :D

Did you use the MLM at home? I have a DIY garage setup. Net acorss a 3mm steel wire on carabiner clips so it can be retracted and a thick sheet in front to take the impact.

I have about 5 feet in front of me to the net and 6 feet behind where I hit from. According to the website that is too small space in front but I'd like to know if you tried it?

The prgr launch monitor looks like it may work better for me.

No mate. I bought solely for the range. With no spin measurements it will not give you direction, just the basic metrics.

I was using in the range about 6 feet away, and worked pretty good.

I liked the MLM2 and was an early adopter for it at launch, but the issues lead me towards skytrak, but now looking forward to what MLM2 has to offer..

Their customer service is also very good, I have had some issues registering my year free trial on the unit as I had one at launch last April..but have had response within 15-20 minutes to my emails, while they sort the transfer I was given a free 7 days “trial” to keep me going, (even though it’s bloody snowing here atm).

What monitor is the prgr?

For the money I would seriously consider the MLM2 especially if you have a net setup, as it comes with special RPT balls to get accurate numbers in the net.

Watch some reviews, as things like the “impact camera” etc.. is great, there is to much to say here, but honestly, have a look on YT.

Plenty of flexi time sitting at work so decided to take Monday off for a game of golf. Checked the weather beforehand and it was a bit breezy but nothing bad.

Checked again today and there's 47mph winds now...

Hardcore! Assume there is no snow on the ground?

No snow, and was a glorious clear blue sky sunny day in the south east!

Bitterly cold wind at points though!

Set a best score ever of 114, after shooting 120 two weeks ago, made good decisions for almost the whole round, the few drives I took went nice and straight, iron were nice, wedges nice, putting very nice.

A bloomin wonderful day out by all counts! :D

Making better decisions will work wonders, sounds simple but plot your way around and stop going for hero shots. I've got so much better swinging at 80% rather than 120%.

100%, when I try and really muscle a shot it all goes wrong! Would rather hit it short and take an extra shot getting to the green than taking a drop and losing yet another ball!

A little bit frustrated.

Got in touch with Rapsodo today and they can’t put the year subscription on with my current account.

They said if I create another email account and all that jazz I could use the subscription.

I’m not creating new stuff including Apple ID and what not, so I decided to buy the lifetime membership. It’s expensive but was considering it anyway.

I see myself sticking with it anyway, but it still doesn’t 100% feel great as I have just shilled out £600 on a launch monitor.

Out of curiosity what is the one or more club(s) you have replaced but have always regretted it?

I have two. Original RBZ Hybrid. This thing was a powerhouse rocket and performed off the tee and off the short stuff. Always my go to club and changing to the RBZ 2 made me regret my decision. My current LTDX Hybrid though is coming close to matching that RBZ.

Secondly is my LTDX LS Driver. Loved this and went miles. Changed it for the Paradym *** and now the TSR but I've still that feeling I need it back. Tempted to buy a cheap one in same spec I had and test it. It's always bugged me
