I noticed that when he clashed heads with Wisdom, he went down holding his knee. That was shortly before he came off.

I saw him go straight down the tunnel when he was subbed but I hoped it was precautionary none of this season ending business

We were so close to having a fully fit squad and then Young, Evans and Vidic go down on the same weekend.

I'll be honest before the game I really wasn't sure about Ferdinand or Vidic's ability to handle Suarez which really says something either about how far those two have fallen or how good Evans has become (in the end both dealt with him fairly comfortably), either way I do think a top class centre back needs to be a priority in the summer

I thought our back four played very well yesterday actually since the midfield did very little to protect them.

Pique wanted to move and I doubt he'd look as good in the PL as he does in La Liga.

I think Welbeck isn't particularly suited to playing on the wing or as the deeper striker but he ends up there because he won't start up top over RvP. As you say, he doesn't miss many sitters because he generally doesn't get into those positions.

I just had a read through the posts made during the game... seemed much better natured than usual, I didn't realise I was that bad an influence.

Just helps the game was less ill tempered really.

That and no bad calls bar the Johnson thing. (Debatable penalty for Kagawa too also)
