Hmm. They have a Full HD 1080p sticker in the bottom right but it won't display it at 1920x1080 but rather 1920x1200? :)

? Are you saying it does not have 1:1 pixel mapping because 1920x1200 is beyond full HD so that sticker is justified!

I suppose you're right. 'Full HD' just means that the display panel can display signals up to and including 1080p, though not necessarily all the different frame rates.

I was referring to the non-1:1 pixel mapping, yes. The term 'Full HD' just looked a little unusual and out of place to me, but I suppose it is not.

Got the VGA cable for my 360 today, and got a massive improvement in picture quality!! Very noticeable.

Before I was using component to VGA by an adapter, and also tried my HDMI cable (which would appear to be faulty as it only allows me to do 480p) and the VGA at 1080 resolution looks absolutely fantastic in comparison to both.

Now just have to wait for the autumn update to get 16:10 resolutions. Definitely NOT going to return this monitor now

It turned up today so impressed with this monitor games look great and I can have move than one program open on the screen.

The cables it comes with are a nice touch love the DVI to HDMI cable

Here are some pics

My old 19Inch

I'm looking at getting this for use with Xbox 360 and movies.

At the moment i've got a Benq G2400W which I chose particularily for the 1:1 pixel mapping feature. Let me say that the improvement in picture between the 1:1 image and the stretched one is very minimal, so much in fact that I use full screen (stretched) image all the time and don't bother with the pixel mapping feature.

Needless to say this HANNSG would be a sweet monitor for me!

If you get it, will you be selling your benq? :)

I was worried it would be to big but I find now I can have 2 browser windows open at the same time.

When I'm gaming the size is fine cause everything just looks bigger

Hehe, well I've got a the Benq and a Samsung 22" inch and I could keep either for use with my PC. Nothing wrong with the Benq , I just want more size for me games :p

So in answer to your question, possibly! email is in trust, just drop us an e-mail :)

BTW could anyone tell me whether this monitor has a headphone socket that I could plug my 2.0 speakers in by ?

has anyone gone from a 22 to the 28 inch as i'm tempted by it too but wonder if the size difference will be worth it ?

anyone got a pic of a 22 next the 28" monitor ?

Yes is a TN, but I have found the viewing angle really good. Only time it look bad is from above or below.

How many people look at their monitor from that position :)

The fact it comes with a HDMI cable with a DVI connection on one end wins it for me as that cable must cost a few quid.

Colors are good on it and I like the buttons on the side/back, for on/off and menu they feel chunky and easy to find
