Hazro - Any Update?

lol, sorry... dont mean to laugh. But this is what I was just about to ask. Whether it was staying on or not as mine has just done the same....Gone off that is.
The back light comes on and you can turn it on and off. That's it F all else

Have you had a reply yet ?

Mine was stuck off, now its stuck on. Cant change input, none of the buttons work. Im not fiddling with it as now its stuck on i can use my PC. Before i just had a green light on the screen, non of the buttons worked. No picture being displayed.

No reply yet, at least i can use the screen until they do, although the electric meter is not going to like it.

Hey folks -

I wouldn't hold out for any RMA support from Hazro. My monitor died over 2 weeks ago and I tried contacting Hazro with no luck. OCUK have issued me an RMA for the monitor and indicated they are having problems contacting Hazro themselves, so I will not get a Hazro replacement monitor (unless someone from Hazro appears and says they are going to honour these warranties...).

Frustrating thing is it is probably the power brick that died. I have looked around for a replacement PSU online. You can find PSUs for the right voltage, wattage etc and with the right physical connector but the common way the connector of these 3rd party PSUs is wired for +ve / -ve DC etc is not the same as the Hazro one, so it is something to watch out for if going that route..

Would a buy a Hazro monitor again? Probably not!

I looked everywhere for a contact phone number for Hazro - nothing on their website (lights are on, but no one home..) - I found a number listed on this site but have not tried it yet: http://www.viewsoniceurope.com/uk/shop/resellers.htm

Cheers,
Bill

If you have a pinout of that Hazro PSU available then please post it.

No mine hasn't died (yet), but if an alternative PSU is available that just needs the end chopping off and the wires soldering on in a different order then this would be useful information to have out there.

I have some images with PSU details for the HZ24wsi - this is the PSU shipped to me with the monitor. I think a 150W one might be better as this thing does draw those watts (we have one of those electrical power monitors in our house, I always knew when the Hazro was turned on...).

i really wish hazro would come back out with a new screen. What they had/have was a really good line of monitors, guess it was costing them to much money trying to keep everyone happy.

Do you know if they are still trading ? Or have they gone under.

Do you know if they are still trading ? Or have they gone under.

I think you'd have to get OCUKs opinion on that.

All I know is that when trying to get mine fixed a few months ago OCUK were happy to tell me Hazro were "still there" and to speak to them about RMA. If it's now at the stage that OCUK are just swapping screens out for different brands / refunds I can only see that as a bad sign that Hazro are gone or just about to.

But then again, OCUK might just be really bored of trying to deal with Hazro and decided to cut they're loses and make their customers happy by swapping them out?

Ive emailed lutfur rehmman direct rather than going through web mail.
I`ll give it a few days to see whether I get a reply.
Then take a blast up there on my bike, they are only 45 mins away.

Some one on here went to the factory about 9 months ago.
fancy chiming in with an address ?

This might get deleted by an admin, as I know when someone posted a phone number it quickly went; though Google cached the page and you can still find it on Google :o

When I did my RMA the address that ANC (i.e. fedex) sent it to was:
Hazro Technologies
14(B) Warwick Road
Birmingham

Not sure what's there, but google maps knows where it is :)

Overclockers.co.uk will provide 1 year of warranty services on all Hazro monitors.

Have asked them whether Hazro quit their services or not. So far no answer on that.

Having waited nearly 3 weeks from their support and webform email, and their phone contact number not working anymore, I have to ask has this company has gone the way of the Dodo?

It would be good if Overclockers.co.uk gives a statement on this situation, since they were a reseller.
In the past Overclockers.co.uk would direct me straight to Hazro, but now they say they will give one year of warranty support...

So, it seems Hazro is gone SaytanUK. I have not received a reply from them in months...

It would be a great shame if they have gone, they were one of the very few 26" IPS manufacturers available in the UK. I can only think of LG that do a similar priced 26" off the top of my head.

Yes its exactly that, no lenience.
My monitor was 2 weeks over the 1 year and I'v been told "you will need to resolve this issue with Hazro direct"

So it looks like I'm up the proverbial creek with out a monitor.

My power adapter for my 24" Hazro recently died. I used their web contact form and got a reply within 5 minutes telling me the warranty services address to send it to.

That was on the 12th and so I decided to get back in touch with them recently on the 23rd to ask what was happening with it. This time I didn't get such a prompt reply and after reading this forum decided to try out their straight up email address even though I'd only sent the 2nd webmail about 24 hours previously.

Again a very quick reply (15 mins) telling me the new adapter had been sent out and should be here today.

Now I'm just hoping that nothing in my monitor broke when the power adapter died..... and that it lasts a bit longer this time :-/
