I have been suspended from work today.

I had something similar, I had a terrible migraine one day and just couldn't get out of bed so had to phone in sick.

My mother in law posted a photo of my daughter at the beach the same day and tagged me in it. The photo was taken 2 weeks before.

Someone, and I know who it was, printed it off and put the screenshot on the managers desk without even speaking to me or the manager. My manager found it the next day and I was pulled to one side and asked about it.

Even though he was a giant *** hat he took my word for it.

Things like this really wind me up, used to see it all the time when I worked in Sainsbury's, people telling tales over pathetic things, so many sad sour vindictive ***** out there!

That's why I left in the end.

Bad management and colleagues stabbing you in the back.

The same woman, called Sue, had a massive whinge about another supervisor called Christine, all I said was "i had my reservations when she started but I think she's doing great now, fits in well with the team and works hard!"

2 days later, pulled into a meeting and accused of ******* her off.

out of the 7 supervisors there was myself and another girl who were the best of the bunch, 2 others who were good and well liked. The other 3 were useless and hated by the staff, yet it is only those 3 that are left.
 
I now have 2 facebook accounts, one for people who are friends and that I run my photography business through, the other solely for work and running their social pages.

I may on a rare occasion let a work colleague on to my facebook, but i have to know I can trust them.
 
Makes Hitler video, abusively references colleagues and their health issues. Does not understand what fuss is about.

This thread is a shining example of why some people do not do well in life and probably never will.

So it's ok for the person who has health issues to take the **** out of it (himself) and also take the **** out of me over 12 years give or take, for example, my parents died when I was young in a car accident, I wear glasses, I am going bald (losing hair in general) and not have perfect teeth. He takes the **** out of all those and I laugh about as I am not a pussy. I give as good as I take and he does (DID by the looks of it now). It's all just friendly **** taking and general 'bantz'.

Not once did I make complaint against him for, I guess you or some would call it bullying. It's ****ing work place jokes and banter.

Anyway, I am into typing my massive statement that explains everything in the video and also pointing out ACTUAL bullying against me from another of the offended pussys that was reported many times and **** all done about it. I will drag this **** out for weeks if needed.

This will do nothing but come across as childish excuse making and 'but he called me this'.

If you want to keep the job, then you need to suck it up, apologise, explain it was an error in judgement, you understand why it was wrong to portray your work environment as a Nazi command structure whilst taking the **** out of what is almost certainly a disability as far as your employer is concerned.

If you're not bothered about the job, just resign before you risk having fired for gross misconduct on your cv, because that doesn't look so great on a reference.

The biggest mistake you made was escalating localised name calling into recorded, reviewable 'abuse'. It's a big difference, one is instant, any unintentional upset can be immediately resolved etc. The other is shareable, saveable, faceless and distanced etc.

The problem is that over the years you've been having workplace bantz, I worked on factories from 1974 to 2007 so I'm an expert in bantz, but you made a film.
That takes bantz to another level where it isn't tit for tat bantz that management can use one way or another but solid evidence of your one way bantz.
 
I never mention my day job on my social media, not name, what I do, or people. I have colleagues on there but I always live by the rule that don't put anything online that you are not prepared to say to your mother.
Rule of thumb really, people can get offended over anything these days and management will always take things out of context even if it is banter.

You got it wrong way round.

There is no reference to my day job online is because I don't want give work any reason to link me to them. That is another level of safety net to cover my back side.

The rule of thumb is not say anything I can't say to my mother above the previous point.
 
Just received a letter. I have disciplinary hearing on Monday. In the letter there is written statements from the 2 offended people and the personnel clerk who was contacted. I have read them through. I can bring someone with me if needed. Not really sure if i need one to be frank, either ill get the boot or keep my job but I am leaning on the side of getting the boot tbh.

How can having someone there be beneficial to me in this case?
