I have been suspended from work today.

We had a solicitor in to do one of those discrimination in the workplace courses and one example she had seen was someone being hauled in front of HR for discrimination due to the fact they didn't give someone a Christmas card but had given them to others.

That person was of a religion that didn't celebrate Christmas and had made it very clear they had no interest in it but as soon as someone treated them in accordance with their wishes they went crying to HR as they felt they were being discriminated against

Really! they couldn't have down the meeting earlier, I have to get some sleep before work in the morning!

Bah, suppose I'll just have to wait until the morning for the result. :(

Without any actual evidence presented to you, deny deny deny!!!!

If its just "we've been notified you said this" then deny it mate, because they've already deemed whatever was said to be against company policy or it wouldn't have ended up here so admitting to anything means you'll be punished.

I leave the office at 5 we better have an answer by then or else I won't find out until the morning :(
