I'm Back......
Well. Where do I begin?
Ok on Friday, my boss told me about a video of a C.Ronaldo press interview from a Champions league from whatever year. The one where CR walked out of. Anyway this video was in Spanish/Portuguese and the subtitles were in English but completely different such as saying he was out with the Icelandic team for a drink and he took coke etc. Very funny video actually.
Anyway. The prompted me to look at some of the Bruno Gantz (sp) Hitler videos on Youtube, you know the ones.
Anyway, I downloaded the original German none subtitled clip and proceeded to add subtitles to it using 4 friends from work who I have know and had "bantz" with over the years, I mean serious
**** taking bantz. Give and take that sort of thing. So I did a similar thing using the actors as my friends. Tagged the only people in it and not friends of friends, yeah I know it can be shown to others, hey ho. So only the ones used. Got replies saying how funny it was (it was very funny) from all those tagged apart from two.
The two took offence and here we are.
Still suspended on pay while further investigation is done.
Granted, probably a silly thing to do but I would not have thought these two people would have made a fuss over it. My Boss
****ed himself at the video and he feels the same way as others do. With staff moral at all time low, it was done in jest to give us something to laugh at and talk about it.
Yeah silly me.
The reason the two took offence is a little petty considering other staff members (inc managers), in front of management at various times had said the same things and the 'victim' so to speak laughed with them and not just out of blending in, actual belly laughs.
Anyway, extra paid holiday for me.
CV updated, cover letter done for a position in a local pub restaurant. I know the manager and had a chat earlier before the meeting. Pretty much mine just got to hand in CV and letter.
Right a fish supper for us tonight.
