I think it's the day you buy it but it gives you additional minutes to compensate, not 100% on this though. I checked my ultimate 200 and it gave me 100 extra minutes

I don't believe he was. If you read the biography he genuinely believed he'd beat his illness right up until just a few weeks before his death.

Steve liked to fleece the customer for as much money as possible just as much as any other CEO. He was one of the best at it too.
 
Anyone got any reccs for a third party video player (with more codec support) that currently utilises the full screen?

Or alternatively, which such third party video player is best and receives fairly frequent software updates?

That's what I did yesterday. Picked mine up this afternoon in the Cardiff Apple Store :) Handy as I thought I was going to have to wait weeks!
 
Just saw this pic, Apple have really stepped up the screen to match the iPad3 in-terms of colour which is great, really hard not to love this phone.

Even though they enlarged the arndale store for what I would assume is the iphone 5 release, I'd say probably zilch chance. Unless you have so much patience. I'd wait for everyone to get theirs and all the hoohaa to go down first before even contemplating getting one. I hate being a guinea pig

I heard they get quite a few delivered to the stores daily, maybe not enough! Ahh well all I can do is pop along :)

I've got my eye on an ipad 3 but I keep hearing rumours about an updated version coming out in October...

i reserved online and they have stock of a 32gb white for me tomorrow, so i'd say try your luck they must be getting a delivery
 
I think quality control must have gone out the window or i just have a dodgy phone

My auto brightness sensor only seems to work as and when it feels. Eg now im in bed just about to get up and its burning my eyes. My 4s would have instanty dimmed down the brightness but not my 5

Never managed to get the auto brightness to work, is there a test that can be done?

Shine a big torch on it! It appears to be working now

I tested agaist my 4s last night and it does go up when a torch is on it but takes a bit longer to dim again when it goes off.

No idea why it didnt dim this morning :confused:
 
Just received mine (black), there is a tiny bit of scratching around the lightning connector, it is very hard to see though.

overall not im happy with it.

EDIT* have just notice a small scratch on the side (back)... thats annoyed me a bit.

I'm getting mine today and if it's even a little bit scratched - it's going back :p

You spend so much on a phone, it needs to be perfect.
