*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

It should really be unlimited. Surely what Orange are currently doing is horribly misleading to the average consumer and must be illegal in some way?

Ooh, I hope it covers greater London too :p

EE have said they want London to be the first city in Europe to be fully covered by 4G

The 4G service has been switched on in four cities — London, Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham — with 12 others to follow. These are: Belfast, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle, Sheffield and Southampton.

By Christmas, 16 cities will have 4G. London will be the first European city fully covered with 4G.

If they do impose such limits, it makes 4G entirely pointless. It really has to be a massive allowance, likely unlimited; but I bet it won't be.

Especially as you'll have to pay extra for it to begin with (most likely).

T-Mobile US has recently launched an unlimited LTE plan.... No reason the UK can't do similar.

I'm on my third Iphone (4s) and they have always been contract. I had a look on a few carriers and notice these unlimited data sim only options (3g obviously) are they really unlimited? And if so do we think 4g sim only would also be offered as unlimited data plans? Really interested in the iphone 5 but want to ditch my contact when it runs out

I know 3 has all you can eat

I saw the EE press conference but is there any news on when EE be live and taking orders? Will be waiting several extra weeks to get the Iphone 5 on the EE network or will we be able to get it from T-mobile for 4g coverage?

I'm sold. Not because of all the Apple PR BS, some of which, as ever, is laughable, but because I've tried owning an S3 and Android and just can't get on with it at all. Back to iOS it is for me, the quality of the hardware that comes with it is just a bonus IMO.

Much rather a nice dual core that was low power, tired of battery dieing so fast on phones.

Quad Core done right does not kill your battery, compare Galaxy S3 to Simalar device running the latest S4 chipset which has a Dual Core CPU very simalar to the Cortex A15.

There not much different at all

Isn't the S3 a 2 core CPU though? iirc they scrapped the 4 core model very early on.

So, the new iPhone has a different aspect ratio, pointlessly breaking backward compatibility with previous iPhone games; a new connector no-one else uses, pointless breaking compatibility with the iPod and a thousand iPod accepting devices; and a new sim card style, pointless breaking compatibility with existing sims. That's toptastic, that is.

I'm not seeing anything impressive here at all. Meanwhile Samsung are delivering fantastic improvements all the time, and Nokia's new Lumia is looking very tempting indeed. I can't see this doing anything to counter the slide in Apple's market share.

Well said, that seems to be the jist of it
