iTunes Match is live...

Anyone know how to make Match recheck previously uploaded songs again? I have loads it should have matched but it uploaded instead?

Also, how do you make it deal with ones it says are waiting. Matched has finisihed it's 3 steps but they still say waiting.

I'm having the same problems.

Seems a bit buggy so far.

Those are the main two problems I have with it.

A whole load of tracks have been uploaded when exact matches are available on the store.

They are not exactly odd songs either. I just don't know why they weren't matched to begin with or how to force them to match now.

As they have been uploaded they are wasting my iCloud space when they needn't be.

Match says it has finsihed it's 3 steps but I still have songs it says are waiting.

I really hope a solution for both of these appears soon

I've encountered quite a few bugs:

The last artist in the list of letters appears in the next letter list.

It appears to be downloading every song I stream, even though I don't click the download button. (the cloud logo disappears)

Not matching odd songs in whole albums (popular ones)

I'm coming to this party a bit late, so if I use Match, is it going to delete all my music off my laptop HDD and just try and stream it?

Really don't want to have to re-download everything as overseas I rarely have internet and don't want to lose all my music.

By what criteria does it match music? Does it go of the songs name?

Don't think so, though I can't be sure for certain. I did a little test with one song that appears in both the normal version and deluxe version - ergo exactly the same song AFAIK, and got it to re-match again and iTunes matched it in the other album regardless.

Right... Joined, matched etc. (only needed to upload 2,000 songs so not bad). Now, what's the best way to go about replacing my crappy quality sub 256kbps songs?

Getting pretty annoying now. Click to play a song (off the cloud)...

after about 15 seconds, the wrong song starts to play, go back into the list to re-click the song again. Starts playing correctly, but it's started to download the song it chose to begin with!

Ok this is really bugging me now...

Can anyone else confirm (or not) that this is happening to them?

Click on a song in the cloud to play it on your device.
Navigate to a new song and play that.
Go back to the original song....

Now has that original song been downloaded on your device? (even though you didn't click the download icon!)

Basically every song I listen to downloads onto my device! Is this happening to anyone else?

iTunes Match is not a streaming service. If a song isn't on your device and you click play then it will download it to that device (when connected to WiFi)
