Quite fitting that his picture on Chelsea's site is in front of those plastic flags they have to give out to their fans in an attempt to create an atmosphere.

Genuinely surprised at the reactions from a few Liverpool fans on here. Pretty poor form really.

lol, having seen the interview, way to blow it out of proportion. Liverpool are in the Europa league, they'll be in it again next year, and probably in it again the year after, and the year after that.
He didn't say liverpool suck balls or he hates them, on CHELSEA TV he claimed, shockingly that Chelsea were a big club, he's happy to be there, its a step up in his career(he's gone from what, 100-120k a week to 170-200k depending on which report you read, certain seems a step up), may or may not be playing in the CL this season, probably playing in it next season, potentially wining the league this year, and probably competing for the league for several years to come.
If/when Fabregas joins Barca, and gives the same interview, I'm not going to go around claiming I hope someone ends his career.
I HATE Torres, I think he's a massive cheat, in a bad way, he dives but, he kicks a penalty spot to try and mess it up, he consistantly kicks out at players throughout pretty much any game I've seen him play yeah Suarez saved that shot in the World Cup and he shouldn't of, but it was an instant, a moment, something unplanned, Henry's handball the same(and lets be honest, Ireland wouldn't have been 1/50th of the entertainment France provided), Torres scuffing the penalty spot is pretty much the single most blatant piece of cheating I've seen, ever, so utterly unsportsmen like , and I'm saying that interview isn't even remotely rude or mean to Liverpool.
Its a club tv channel, why would Liverpool fans watch it, I hope to hell he makes a public press statement or does a press conference and thanks Liverpool and their fans and makes you look like utterly stupid for your over reaction.

Dunno what all the fuss is about to be honest, interview with his new club that no doubt he's been pressured into as part of the deal, talks with a bit of optimism about future with Chelsea, how he admires the level they play at etc.
Fact is during Torres' time in England, Chelsea have been more competitive than Liverpool, nothing he's said there is that bad, and if Liverpool fans/players are seriously thinking about "doing him" in the forthcoming fixture then that just serves to show what a pathetic bunch they are, worrying about stuff like that as opposed to important stuff like trying to secure 5th place in the league.

He scuffed it, not the second it was given but like 20-30seconds later, sorry but there are dozen's of incorrectly handed out penalties and I've NEVER seen anyone else do that, ever, doesn't that tell you something? I've not seen someone do anything that really even comes close to that level of, well, cheating.
He kicked it out of anger, when was the last time you saw a football game where at least one player didn't get really angry at a decision, how many times have you seen them purposefully go and try and damage the spot the freekick/penalty/corner/goal kick was about to be taken from.
What about the fact he kicks out at people, never bad, he doesn't injured people, he doesn't do two footed stamps on people, just niggling irksome kicks at anyone he happens to be near.
Torres has more yellow cards than any other striker in the league, he's had 44 fouls against him, which is 13 more than De Jong, 3 more than Song/Andy Carroll, and over half as many as Davies has, thereby proving he's terrible as Davies just beats everyone so badly there you shouldn't have more than half of what Davies has, which btw is 72

Different players react in different ways lad.
Yeah, there might have been some malicious intent, what about Rooneys diving to end arsenals unbeaten streak, or countless other dives, if you're going to bring up cheating, whether its blatent or not its still ****ing cheating at the end of the day so jog on.
He probably kicks out at people because they kick at him, just like he did that ****er Stearman the other week.

What on earth is your point, where did I say Rooney doesn't dive, infact the very point I made is its not the diving, its the fact he makes apoint of kicking everyone, and scuffing penalty spots, the later is something I've NEVER seen anyone else do, ever, people react in different ways, I've seen plenty of people punch other players, revenge tackles, etc, I've seen one player scuff a penalty spot, that same player makes a habit of kicking people, not people that have done a bad foul on him, just anyone.
The point was, he's the biggest cheatingist pile of crap in the league, he's my most hated player(well, Diouf/Barton) but even I don't think that Chelsea interview was even remotely mean towards Liverpool.
That was the point, why you're making it about cheating I don't even know, my point had NOTHING TO DO WITH CHEATING, but pointing out how much I hated him and why.

Well, you could do what Utd fans did, expect 58 goals due to the price in the first season, then because he scored almost exactly as many goals as he has in previous seasons, hound him, boo him, kill his confidence, get the manager to drop him, then seasons later he could get his confidence back and start playing well, become clearly your best player and then finally start supporting him?
Or you could ignore the price COMPLETELY, except he's a potential talent, support him, hope he does well, give the team a chance to build around new players, not jump on his back with every miss and probably end up with a solid player for many many years. If he sucks in 4 years, so be it, send Kenny an e-mail with an angry emoticon on it.
Torres hasnt come out and said that about liverpool, some major overreacting tbh, and someone trolling crap.
Im as sick as the next person seeing our former hero now in a blue shirt - but the fact is we are not good enough, and now he has a genuine chance of winning something before his career peters out and ends
He should be thankful that Liverpool has made him the superstar he is - at Atletico he still had potential - but at Anfield he became (in most peoples eyes) the worlds best. Now he has to prove he is worth it, and im sure he will. With his ability, he deserves some domestic and ueropean success.
Lets be honest, we are probably stronger (in depth) with suarez and carroll than an unhappy torres alone in attack.
