This is what happens when you have to CGI out a beard/moustache:

lol that looks terrible.
even the special fx in the trailer looked terrible.

that said i reckon i'll go and see it but i fully expect it to be embarrassing.

That doesn't make sense. Surely fake hair has come on a long way? This will definitely be ending up in a WatchMojo future top 10 bizarre use of CGI video.

I wonder how many people would have noticed had it not been highlighted in the media.

Probably nobody, but as soon as its mentioned everyone can spot it, even though its not going to be obvious as to what shots have been altered.

I've got free tickets to see this, otherwise I definitely wouldn't be bothering. I had my doubts simply because it's Zack Snyder and he's not directed anything good since 300, and unfortunately the reviews seem to confirm that it's not great, or at least that it's very divisive. If it's anything like BvS I'm going to hate it, that had some of the most hilariously bad dialogue I've ever heard in a superhero film.

In fact, I'm going to put it out there that superhero team-ups are normally bad. Barring Captain America Civil War and maybe the first Avengers film I can't think of a superhero ensemble film that's been done well. I think directors struggle to give all the characters enough to do and a lot of the time these films just devolve into a massive 'smash and blow up everything in sight' type of affair.

Was really disappointing. May have just been our screen and was in 2d but the VFX and CGI were not great. Certainly cyborg looked like the CGI you would expect on a budget film.

Pacing felt wrong, plus like several films cut together. It felt too short and genuinely all the good bits were already in the trailers.

CGI was better in Thor by a long way.

Even the sets in this felt empty.

Sounds like the same thing they did with suicide squad, different editors working on different cuts then it just got superglued together,

This was worse & different.

Even to the point where there were 2 end credit scenes. The proper one after all the credits had rolled was really nicely shot and pretty epic. Felt like it had been done by an entirely different director and production crew. First one felt like it was from The Flash TV series with the Supergirl crossover.

The opening scenes made me think we were going to have a Batman & Robin effort for a minute.

It really did feel like they cut 30 mins out of this last minute.

Went and watched it today. Felt it was fun and enjoyable. 7-8/10 for me. :) (But, I'm fairly easy to please regarding movies, so take that as you may)

But it won't be for everyones tastes. Because it felt more like a continuation to Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, coming in as a third act to a tale spanning across all three films. So unless you know or recently watched these movies (and since not everyone liked Batman v Superman; hence much less watched it), that could lead to continuity issues viewers won't get references made. But even then there's lore and info that's "just" for fans only. Meaning the general moviegoer will be scratching heads and wondering why the comic geeks are all fangirling over something on screen that didn't make sense to them. And this doesn't even take into account all the "missing" stuff that everyone has seen in trailers and tv spots.

That mandate by the top at Warner for 2 hour movies really messed with the movie. Whilst I didn't experience as much of the jumping around scenes and feeling like I've missed something (I only felt that way from knowing some scenes were missing really), some of what was being alluded towards wasn't fully worked on after and it was more in trailers. So I really hope at some point an "Ultimate Edition" gets released, because that running time wasn't enough really.
