Why are you focusing on a small part of what has been raised here?

1. The billet labs "auction".
2. General treatment of Billet Labs.
3. Increasing amounts of errors in LTT video's.
4. Serious sexual harassment and cultural issue aligations.

Some people are calling for his head because of a combination of these.

If your the sort to get your knickers in a twist over something so easily then yeah I can see why it would be considered "poor taste".

Others may see it more as a look we are being serious but not too serious because that would be boring. No one wants to listen to 20 minutes of corporate BS apology videos which never go down well. So setting the tone early on is a good thing.

In light of the serious sexual harassment and gaslighting allegations, maybe not try to be goofy and make jokes in an apology video? They look crass and the descended the video into cringe

By the way the Linus tech tips forum is now down, perhaps purposefully pulled down due to the allegations from Madison that were also reposted there numerous times and getting discussed

There is the comments by a lab staff where they compared themselves to GN and HUB. I think There was another controversy (not related to LTT) regarding general employees talking about stuff and it causing a problem.

This is why we get canned PR responses. Because you will always have people ready to take it in the worst possible light. and companies can't afford to have low level employees generating a media problem everytime they so much as look at a camera.

Keep exploding and reacting at drama like a fan girl and you fail to miss how the world works.

For reference, issues 1-3 are departmental based problems and process issues. Company said they will change and do things better and be more transparent with their processes. Unless there is proof of lies in every single video and clear product manipulation over and over again, calling for the CEOs head for that is just silly.

Point 4, should happen behind closed doors through police investigation, the public do not need to know what's going on or what the outcome is until its either dropped or charges and a court case outcome. Police should have been notified, not run to social media after 2 years of holding it in "for the right moment".

Has everyone forgot how law works in here or we just living in a X fairy magical land?

Good to see that basically the entire LTT/LMG outfit is taking this seriously going by that latest response video.

Just one error... They probably should have blurred out the price billet labs noted in the email screenshot as iirc that was not meant to be public knowledge.... oops.

GN may well have saved LTT's future this week.

Also seems a top comment about the whole Madison situation got deleted. Whether the comment author or LTT deleted it is unknown. Raises eyebrows.

Finished the video. Ok so why are they selling stuff in the video too?! Also the CEO eyeballs freak me out man. Also looks like Linus and Yvonne have had a big old cry.
