LTT called out

Meanwhile in the UK... take up to 7 days off in a row and offer nothing but your word that you needed it. Or drop off the face of the planet for months with a doctors approval.

By law though it's only SSP which is only £100 a week or so the last I looked so you are not surviving months on that

With the regards to the allegations, they are currently just that an allegation, with no evidence presented other than she said so. No doubt investigations will be done and a response made.

Unfortunately in this day and age, an allegation is often enough to destroy someone's reputation even if it turns out to be completely false.

He clearly doesn't, but lets not forget school holidays are still amongst us.
You have no idea what I do for work, but to clear up your nonsense, I own a business, I have other employees and contractors. Dealing with numerous other businesses, managing legal and contractual expectations and obligations on a daily basis.
So guess again, all you are doing is embarrassing yourself.

Did I say anything was acceptable? No, if you think I did go back and link the post.
Did I say that things happen and there are processes to resolve without the need to jump on a social media band wagon to call for someone to lose their job/income, yes.

If this is even remotely true, your unfortunate employees and associates have my deepest sympathy.

Interesting move editing your previous childish response with some more content btw.

By the way the Linus tech tips forum is now down, perhaps purposefully pulled down due to the allegations from Madison that were also reposted there numerous times and getting discussed
It's not down. Just being weird.

Add a www. in front and it works.

"Housekeeping week".

They're still minimising the problems and trying to control the narrative. Awful.

Yeah, I picked up on this, they're still putting a spin on things, Colton seems to be the one that's getting the black mark for it, and for Linus to say 'His jobs safe for another day' is just really bad taste, probably meant to be a joke, but, is just another case of Linus reading the room wrong.

So we get called out for editing a reply? Seems very judgemental.

100% true, don't be a hater. Leave my business out of this conversation.
We’ve found the person who fell for the PR ********.
Better than what half this thread was calling for LMG to do in response, which was a very short sighted and immature way of dealing with an issue in a company, he is a shareholder and founder of.

I mean you can:

If someone is sick they're sick though.

Of course you can. It is slow and risky because sick leave is not misconduct.

Maybe you misunderstand me, when I say you can take up to 7 days off on only your word, I mean your word that you're sick (which was the scenario) and not your word being that you feel like time off for any other reason.

Well the point was that the LTT employee was struggling to get the grudging legal allowance for sick leave which is down-a-cliff worse than what we get much more easily.
