Linus using language like "my bad" in a scrutinized response. Cringe. Also Billet with their "it sucks". Such professionals. ;)
Particularly ironic from LMG as well being a large media company lacking good public statements.

Did you watch the bit when he called out intel.fot copying his designs?

Turns out Modmat had the same design on there mats in the 90s.

Tenner says Steve worried about Linus stepping into his area so he did the hot piece.

The fact he didn't contact Linus before posting for their side of the arguement is suspicious.

Plus the idea that Steve is the unbiased reporter when he has a lot of skin in the game.

It would be like listening to the guardian or telegraph only

LTT instigated all of this by that 'labs' person saying they are better than HUB and GN at testing :confused:

Some of GN content, actually mostly just Steve's opinion can be a bit off, he even literally contradicts his own results sometimes.

That being said I really like the content from Anthony on LTT, that guy is spot on and does some interesting stuff as well.

Just as a heads up the reason that Emily ( previously Anthony ) came out as trans a month or 2 ago, so that may explain the lack of videos from her.

Presenter isn't relevant to the content. You might not like the presenting style but that doesn't remove the facts that were presented

GN is just doing hit pieces to get views, it's a YouTube technique as old as time.

Expect multiple versions of the same recordings until the views drop.

GN is about as unoriginal as it gets, they haven't changed their formula in years. Go back 5 years and bar a hair cut you wouldn't be able to tell the videos apart

He certainly offered a replacement mat if not a refund, I can't remember the video now but was up front and honest with mistake when spotted and the fix they had for it.

He explained why he didn't contact them and was right to do so because it called out Linus prior to them magically trying to correct something they should have by themselves.

And further to that he didn't even monetise the videos so it would be irrel can't for views id there no gain from it.

Why does being unoriginal and having a formula that works be a problem. Further to that they clearly have made changes to their formula because they literally added further testing multiple times and shown what it is as well as testing further things by investing in the company. It doesn't have to be super dramatic changed but enough to show they want to be accurate in tests and get better.
 
I've un-subbed any LMG channel I was subbed to. It's not the mistakes, that's whatever I can compare data. It's the way they/Linus acted over the CPU cooler.

Fair play to the company honestly being so chill about how it was relative to what has happened.
