#MeToo - is it just different for men and women?

I get that he's in self-preservation mode but christ the sheer arrogance to continue to pretend it was ok to intimately kiss a subordinate without permission and ruined the whole occasion for said person at the peak of their excitement.

What a ****.

Well you can see why he's trying it, look at this thread for people saying it is fine.

You're comparing celebrating winning the world cup to work colleagues, would you want a woman fired for kissing you on the lips on New Years Eve for 0.4 seconds? That's the closest comparison I can think of. You're comparing it to a day in the office and removing the context because you literally have to make it sound worse than it was, why do you do that?

Not surprised to see you posting this and the usual suspects liking it. You're literally advocating sexual harassment, do you think smacking a girl's bum or giving it a cheeky pinch at work is okay too?

What do you mean who is he to say he refuses to resign? Do you even know what the word means?
In this context he was being asked to resign.

I take it that he was declaring he's going to make it awkward to get rid of him.

The fact the Spanish team are saying they refuse to play while he's still in charge, a normal person would resign. He shouldn't need to be pushed.

A hug can be sexual just like a kiss can be non sexual.

You think your nan giving you a kiss is sexual, or your parents giving you a kiss is sexual? How about a friend, I have plenty of close female friends that would all give a kiss in a non sexual manner.
I think part of the problem is that that can't be proven one way or another.

So if one of your friends fell out with you, they could subsequently claim that all of your kisses were of a sexual nature, and that you'd been harassing her all this time.

You'd have a hell of a time proving it wasn't (sexual).
