If it say only Intel, then million of AMD will fuming with Microsoft!
WTF!
My pc is AMD Ryzen 7 3700X @ 4.4GHz
16GB DDR4 Ram
1050 Ti GTX Graphic card
500GB NVMe storage
and Windows pc health say NO, you can't run Windows 11 lol
Does my cpu have that? See sig
They need to remove the requirement, then all the older computers can use Win11.
I have a feeling this is going to backfire on Microsoft. Most people are reluctant to upgrade at the best of times, even with Windows 10.
I don't think not having TPM will effect performance. People have been running the OS with a bypass on CPU's not on the allowed list.
They could still have TPM in Win11. Just don't make it a set requirement. I'm not interested in encrypting my hard drive.
I'll let you have that discussion with senior management who just signed a new EA.
And there’s a scary thought, within the next decade we shall all be bowing to our new masters, the all powerful, the all knowing Apple and Microsoft. “All Hail” indeed.
Yeah there is, just turn on fTPM in bios.
i watched that at the cinema wowsers along time ago.
now thats a blast from the past.
may well do the same later on after work.
Do you hear, Sorceress? The final moment has come. All the forces of Greyskull, all the powers in the universe will be vested in me! ME! And you will cease to exist!
If you have an old program that doesn't have a security certificate, tough luck.
Trusted platform modules going for silly money on ebay now over £100 i should have bought a load of them while they were cheap!
Just wait for Windows insider build next week.
All green for me apart from CPU Compatibility which is amber.
Any specific reason for that number? The TPMs for my boards have always been around £13-15...
