I used to hate these things but they've really grown on me over the years and aged well. Epic purchase.

I'm assuming they cost proper-car money to run and maintain.

Pleasant, once you hit speed and set the cruise control its comfortable, not overly loud (don't get me wrong, its no Rolls Royce or Bentley) but you always have that power within a fraction of a second when you want to have some fun.

At full wack you'd either now be in jail picking up the soap or be on the roof in the field wondering how did that happen.
I have driven a R35 GTR from Portsmouth to Bournemouth, I found as a GT cruiser on the motorway it did that job superbly well.
However what I did notice is if I floored it twice for a few seconds, the fuel tank gauge went down.
When I drove my mates around often, I always set the suspension to comfort, normal and race were simply too firm for roads, the rest I'd leave in normal or race.
Though when I drove a 2011/12 model the biggest improvement of the car was for sure the dampers, the car was riding much better, though it felt no quicker but in fairness my mates 09/10 car did have the Y-pipe modification which probably explained that.

I rang today, requested some, said he'd check and call me back, he remembered you. But that was around 11:30am, still waiting for the call back.....
Awesome car OP, I would love to have one!...closest I got was an R33 few years back, wish I kept it now has they have gone up in value.
Friend of mine was looking at getting one (i was trying to persuade him hehe) but was put off with short service intervals/costs compared to other similar cars in the same price bracket.
