At lunchtime it goes mad there, people try pop in and visit him during their lunch breaks. He'll get back to you soon as the madness ends.

Cool, I ordered the K1 Ferrari rears locally, those should be here next week.

Will get the fronts from your buddy as he was way way cheaper, £204, next cheapest was £255 and most places were £270-£320

Rather happy to have bagged 4x PS4S and kept it under £1000. :)

Tell me about it, when all 4 of mine came it at a smidge over £800... been out today again and they just seem to be getting better. Absolutely phenomenal tyre.

They will new tyres tend to be fully bedded in by around 500 miles. :)

Awesome car OP, I would love to have one!...closest I got was an R33 few years back, wish I kept it now has they have gone up in value.

Friend of mine was looking at getting one (i was trying to persuade him hehe) but was put off with short service intervals/costs compared to other similar cars in the same price bracket.

How are you finding it?

The car or the servicing? The car is great, the servicing is not bad, I actually kind of like the 6 month schedule, as it breaks up having to have large work done and allows for them to catch things during the more frequent inspections before they become an issue.

Ive done ~150miles since Monday :D Any excuse to pop out at the moment and just give it some, the **** weather and the pzeros has meant I've not been able to push the car much, so have some pent-up-driving to let lose :D

Yeah that is where Michelins show their real strength. Pzero on Mustang in cold wet weather it was a death trap, quite un-predictable handling wise.

Moved to MPSS was all of a sudden able to push on to an extent in the crappy wet weather too, different league. On the M3 the MPSS are like poo poo to a blanket even in super cold wintery wet conditions, the grip is totally insane on that car.

So Michelins claims for how great the PS4S is in the wet is shocking as to how they could improve what was already a great tyre so much.

More with the servicing. Good point to mention about better to have smaller intervals...i'll mention that to him! lol

He's missing his M1 atm after selling it. haha

I guess it could be a liability if he isn't near a reputable indy.

I think you might have got lucky, I chased them, said their supplier was having difficulty, he promised to call back a few minutes after but never did.

I will call back tomorrow and give them until lunch time, otherwise I shall just find the cheapest in stock place online and place an order.

Pricing error, best they can do now is £242, I shopped elsewhere and paid slightly more for fitting convenience locally. :)

Well thats a bummer! Glad I got mine when I did.

So today the roads were great, and it was nice weather, so took the car out for a real blast on the new tyres.

I'm not going to tell you how fast I came down the straight and around this 270 degree corner then out the other side, but it was quick, very quick, scary quick, and they held on like no tomorrow.

It's one of my favorite bits of road, and if any of you pass through Redditch I suggest giving it a go :) When you come out the corner you pass under the bridge just as you put the power down so it reverbs right at the best bit of the power band, brings a smile every time.

So today is officially the first anniversary of buying the car! Hard to believe its been a year already.

Anyway on Monday its going in for:

Oil and Filter
New Discs
New Pads
MOT

Time to give it a clean!

So after clearing off the layer of dirt the car has acquired in the last 2 weeks... some ****** has obviously opened their door or caught something on my door!

No problem, the actual damage to the paint is very minimal in depth, so G3 to the rescue. People think im mad about how much I rave about this stuff, but it really is amazing.

What can I say apart from christ almighty. The pagid RS29 pads on the alcon discs feel like someone drops an anchor out the back every time I push the brake pedal.

Also Y pipe :)
