i'm sure it won't damage components.
But i'm also sure your Pre-installed Windows, even if it were to boot up, would become corrupted overtime due to the new chipset/components in your new build.
It's always advisable to do a fresh install on a new system - even when chipsets are similar (yours are not - totally different).
Windows 10 does a better job - but even that borks after a while...
Should do - i'm guessing it will notify you that there is no storage device available.
What are you trying to do - test if your installation usb is OK?
You should be able test it on your present PC.
When presented with options choose not to update and cancel the process.
It should register then - what usb port are you using?
Only use the rear motherboard ports and usb 2 (not 3) if you have a choice.
Have you checked that the files are on the stick in windows?

Not sure what you mean.
Did you disable recommended updates? Only have critical updates enabled.
And don't use the MB DIsk - download the chipset drivers from INTEL and the GFX card drivers from nVidia.
Other drivers direct from the components site - i.e. download.
Don't install any bloatware or addons that you wont be using.
Just to clarify - you haven't booted into Windows on your old Windows install on your new machine?
If you didin't - did you delete the partitions and create a new one etc... before trying to install WIndows again on the same drive?

Try another USB Pen (yours may be corrupt) - or use an optical drive/ISO.
