CS3 would be great as well, glossy is still helpful, I'll likely get matte myself but it's the resolution which I'm interested in.

I'm now told 13th June, which is much better :)

Had a play just now on a white 2.16Ghz Macbook which my brother bought in town today. It's really quite a lot faster in general use than my Mini (1.66Ghz Core Duo) so I'm hoping my MBP will offer a similar boost. With luck its keyboard might also be as good as on the MB!

Wicked, I'm presuming they are coming from within the UK then as opposed to China. Must be because they are new and there's a big supply over here.

doubtful, I think all online orders are shipped from china (definately all the customised orders are) and the apple stores just have set configs (the one I looked at was 17" hi res with 7200rpm drive for £1959 i believe)
 
All custom orders come from the far east (Shanghai).

Should be getting my beast soon :D

Who's yours being shipped with? Mine says Walsh Western Uk Ltd. Never heard of them tbh.
 
When I had my Macbook Pro on order, it came via T.N.T and never arrived, several phone calls and someone tracked it to a locked cage in the local depot, with a sticker on saying "Hold" the woman I spoke to was ever so apologetic, and had no idea why it was in an out of the way locked cage saying "Hold" :confused:

:eek: TNT messed my order up once.. lucky it was only an iPod though!

My last MBP came via WW though, and it came in such good nick it was hard to believe that it came from the Far East! :D

Hope they deliver my one this time too...

didnt order yet as ive got a couple of festivals coming up in europe and i want that £1,000 sat in my bank just incase there are any serious emergencies.

but i WILL be ordering before the end of the month :p
 
Mine should be here by the end of this week, if not early next week. It's on its way to the UK courier warehouse as we speak, and should be shipped out tomorrow for me to receive on Friday. And don't worry there will be plenty of pictures of it in the Mac Gallery :)
