NFL 2021 Season

Jags were dominant last week but failed to finish drives and hang up points. They played with their food today but it was a good win. Ridley starting to look like a centre piece weapon

Nice London game today. Trev and Etienne kicked off.
It was great to go to my first NFL game, just a shame the result went the wrong way. The atmosphere was fantastic and the Bills fans had definitely taken over, I was impressed by just how many Americans had made it over. Also, as much as it pains me to say it being an Evertonian, the Spurs stadium is awesome.

I was three rows back in the end zone so at least managed to see all our TDs up close. Our offense just didn't turn up for most of the game though, a lot of the fans are blaming the jet lag as they only flew over on Thursday night, but they definitely looked off the pace. Probably bigger than the loss however were the injuries. Milano looks like he's had a season ender and Jones is out too. With Tre doing his ACL last week, that's three starters out.

I only saw the last third or so on TV, but the crowd sounded fantastic.
the Spurs stadium is awesome.
This is the only reason I wonder if I should go and see some UK games again. On the whole, I've never been impressed by a stadium in the UK, perhaps having been spoilt by the ones I've been to in the US.

I was chatting to a Jags fan on the coach who'd been down the week before for the Wembley game and he said the Spurs stadium is by the better place for NFL games as it felt more like an American stadium. In the stadium I was sat near a few Bills and Broncos fans over from the States and they loved it, apparently the new Highmark has the same designers as well so will take a lot of inspiration from it.

Purdy is incredible, keep waiting for him to falter or get rattled but has been sensational (surrounded by immense talent but he is utilising it)

How did you travel to and from stadium?
The underground to seven sisters and walking was some trek compared to Wembley before (heat did not help), the way back was a shambles also but maybe par for the course. Definitely would choose Wembley game over Spurs stadium for that alone.

Price of beer seemed a lot more reasonable and the servers not pouring stupid >1 pint tins into pint cups that Wembley had last year.
Got a good game though, would've been great if Bills recovered the onside for a bit more drama

I got the National Express coach down from Liverpool. It was £55 each, picked us up at 6am in the centre and parked about a 5 minute walk away from the stadium. We could leave things on the coach as well which was handy seeing as I didn't realise just how warm it was going to be! We got there about midday which gave us time for a mooch round and to grab some beer. We got back to Liverpool at about midnight and sweet talked the driver into dropping us off near my house instead of going into town. I can't fault the service and I'd definitely use that again if I was heading down as it just took all the hassle out of the logistics.

I didn't think the prices were "too" bad considering it's in London. Carling is a fiver a pint at Goodison and the beer was much nicer at Spurs. The only annoying thing was the leaky cups! I had to ask to swap a couple as they were pouring out of the bottom.

Ah that sounds pretty good compared to using underground tbf

Heard a few in the crowd complaining about the cups, ours were fine thankfully and yeah beer prices were grand for a stadium

Oh My. What a Monday. A Winning feeling for us Bears fans :D

A D clearly getting better and making adjustments for weaknesses in the front four. A O Line that is less revolving door and more stable. And a UDFA QB who didn't do anything wrong (indeed looked good in places, i.e. his fakes).

A good week 7. Again some good games. Wish I could say the same for my fantasy teams...

Epic weekend for the Titans!!!

Hehe.

Killer week for byes from a fantasy perspective. Does feel a bit odd how some weeks there are six teams on byes (wk7 and then the stupidly late wk13) and then other weeks nothing (i.e. wk8). I get it's scheduling and driven from a money point of view but it feels messy.

Shouldn't let these players have any bye weeks!

They are just a loaded roster, well built team which might be better a D this year. Very impressive what they did, including the 2nd half. And Byard gives them added secondary depth. For Detroit & San Fran the very bad news is that the NFC runs through LFF again (barring an unlikely collapse).
