TTYD - the combat & game mechanics are better. As a Paper Mario newbie, would you recommend Thousand Year Door or Origami King?

Thanks for that, I'll have a look!No the new Echoes is going to be nothing like any previous Zelda game. First off you actually play as Zelda and it's more of a puzzle style game. Zelda has a magic stick that can make any object after scanning it. It's a hard one to describe. I'm certainly looking forward to it as it's something different.
If you have the online sub you can play all the previous games on NEE, SNES, N64 and Gameboy. There is also the Skyward Sword HD remaster available on Switch if you prefer the older style games in the Series.
I’ve heard it’s like a just-ok version of Hades but with TurtlesHas anyone played the new TMNT game that was ported from apple arcade?
Tempted, but worried its going to be trash
The rumours put it somewhere between PS4 and PS4 pro. (PS4 in handheld, Pro when docked?)Any news on what the specs may be on the switch 2?
Just finished Metroid Prime Remastered. Played it 20+ years ago but enjoyed it just as much this time around. A true classic.
One nitpick... Changing weapons is very clunky, especially when you need to do it in combat, which is very often!! Given that 2 buttons were duplicated(jump/shoot), why not assign 1 to cycle through weapons?!

A better CPU - hard for it not to be better
More RAM 12GB(8GB min) - but less bandwidth
Faster storage
The GPUs raw power might not be as powerful but DLSS should allow it punch above it's weight.
The big unknown is the process node. A lot of speculation that it is Samsungs 8nm which would be very disappointing as that process would be ~6-7 years old when it is released. That would put it on a far worse node than the original PS5 which was released 5 years before it. In contrast the Switch had a more recent node than the PS4(20nm Vs 28nm)

You should also play the original NES game and the fame boy ones.Metroid Prime remastered was excellent. i had never played the original. Prime 4 coming next year too...
I'm playing Super Metroid on the Switch SNES emulator currently. another great game i never played first time round (even though i was a SNES devotee). it's nice to see where it started and what the modern games were built on
i've had to start looking up some solutions though, which i hate doing but i have my limits of running around for hrs on end
No idea how I reached the end on the snes without the internet but somehow I managed it. One of my best gaming experiences. What a game.Metroid Prime remastered was excellent. i had never played the original. Prime 4 coming next year too...

Any Anker or Ravpower one will do. I’ve had a Ravpower one since launch, it’s on its last legs but in 7 years it’s been great for travelling. Will buy again when it finally can’t hold its juice. What sort of powerbank do you need for the Switch. I got "randomly" called for Jury service for the 2nd time in 6 years so if I can't get out of it I want to take my Switch this time. I only have an old 5000Mah anker one at the moment.
Thanks.

I purchased a Nintendo branded Anker item, as it was the only one that I could find that worked with my switch. The only thing that was branded was the box thankfully!
Anything new with usb c will charge it. Playing a demanding game and charging requires at least a 45w power bank. I use a 65w, 20,000 mah one which does the job.
Also, when I did jury service they had a separate room with power sockets and desks set up for laptops and stuff so you might get away with taking a normal charger.
