*** Nintendo Switch ***

I mean that was as underwhelming and bare bones as I expected it to be and I'm still disappointed lol.

The good news is, confirmed physical backwards compatibility too. Also, if that Mario Kart is a launch title that is good because that is not going to make me tempted to break my wait for the OLED version.

The two main things seem to be a bigger screen and Mario Kart.
Seem being key word.

They could have least said Mario Kart 9, even if was just here is Switch2 playing Mario Kart 9 even a small sentence would have made it better.

I wasn’t expecting full details or game information or even a release date. They could have done more than that though

Certain Nintendo Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2

Interesting to know which games are not supported. Probably digital only games.

Yeah I just took that as all of the third party stuff may not bother to do whatever it is they need to do.

It would be nice if they cleaned up the store on NS2. I don't like browsing the store because of all the terrible quality/ mobile like/ cash grabs on there. Feels like a place for anyone and everyone to just release any rubbish they put together.

It will be stuff like Labo (not sure that is spelt correctly - the cardboard stuff they made plus game) and anything else that relies on the physical dimensions of the console.

I have questions

1 - LCD still? I feel like it is an LCD.
2 - The socket, male to female jack on the joycons I feel should be the other way round. They designed it the male side is on the main unit (screen), and the female side is on the joycon.

If something is to snap due to carelessness, it would be the male side. Much easier to replace a joycon than the actual unit.

Not confirmed but seems likely based on rumour mill to date

Probably due to the way the add-ons connect to the joycons, having the connectors the other way round probably more likely to get damaged in the first place mounting and unmounting the add ons.
