2 - The socket, male to female jack on the joycons I feel should be the other way round. They designed it the male side is on the main unit (screen), and the female side is on the joycon.

If something is to snap due to carelessness, it would be the male side. Much easier to replace a joycon than the actual unit.

I think its cause you can use the joy cons like a mouse

I like that they particularly focused on the thumbsticks. I'm choosing to take that highlight of colour to mean they have 100% definitely fixed their inherent issues with sick drift...

Inb4 lawsuit and repair programme.

Just started a new save of No Mans Sky on my Switch, and I still can't believe they such an amazing job on getting it running. It looks good, plays perfectly, and has the bonus of no multiplayer!

The game looks better on my Steam Deck, but I tend to put the most hours into my Switch saves.

Hi All,

With the hype over the Switch 2, I've dug my old Switch OLED out of the pile of dust it's sitting in and want to get into it again before the Switch 2 comes out.

For Someone who's never played a JRPG before. what would people recommend? I'v been looking at Sea of Stars, Dragon Quest XI, Octopath Traveller, etc.. but what's best for a JRPG Noob.

I've been playing Paper Mario:TTYD the past week or so and its a great game but why on earth did they remove the ability to skip dialogue. Its complete crap and 95% of it is of no relevance.

Think I made a bit of a mistake as well and did the 100 level pit thing very early in the game. Got to level 62 odd and suddenly I was facing enemies that I could barely touch for various reasons and if I didn't get to another portal that could take me back to the top I would lose about 2 hours of play along with 3+ levels of Mario. Luckily some of the mechanics in TTYD are somewhat broken and I had just enough to cheese my way through. Nervous at times. I think I am now getting FA rewards from battles though because I am overlevelled.

After contemplating doing it for about a year I've sent my Joycons off today, any idea on usual turnaround time? Got my Pro controller so not desperate more curious.

Can't remember exactly but I was surprised how quickly mine were turned around. Of the order of a few days to just over a week. Certainly not as painful as I imagined
