Of course if it was to cost £10-15 then everyone would buy it (and furthers my stance that you all wanted the Switch/Switch games to be cheap), but that's not the point is it?
I knew you would be along after Warbie's post
How does that further your stance? You stance seems to be "let's pay Nintendo £60 for any game that they release whether we individually deem it to be worth it or not". That is how it comes across to me anyway.
I and a few others have explained clearly why we would not pay full price for a game like Bomberman or Street Fighet II, yet you seem to dismiss this and keep banging on about why we should be paying full price to support them.
Nintendo is just another company, I have no loyalty to companies. I may favour some a little more over others due to products they release or business practices etc, but that is as far as it goes. If they go bankrupt it will likely be because of not giving people what they wanted and bad business decisions, but no problem, someone will buy their IP's and the games or whatever likely will continue.
All the above is coming from someone who has owned every Nintendo console since the NES.
It's that if an individual enjoys a game, regardless of whether it's an old title or a new one, and gets a solid amount of use out of it, then does it matter what it costs?
Of course it matters, it matters to the individual in question. It matters as they will put a price tag on that fun. Here is an example for me:
Zelda Breath of the Wild ~£60 = Hell yes!
Super Mario Odyssey ~£60 = Hell yes!
Bomberman >£30 = Hell no!!!
Street Fighter II >£20 = Hell no!!
End of the day it is down to the individual. Some will be happy to pay £50 for Bomberman. Konami are hoping this is a large enough number hence the price. For those of us who do not and cannot stomach paying that, we will wait until the price drops or be forced to buy it second hand.
Buying it second hand does not mean we do not want Nintendo to succeed however, like you have alluded to in past posts..
