I actually like the flexibility of it. Sure it doesn't have the grunt like the other two consoles but to allow you to play how you want it looks pretty cool. My brother has the Wii U and switching to the tablet to play his games when we wanted to watch TV without interrupting his gameplay was nice.
Looking at the vid, is the screen touch or normal? Didn't see anything hinting to being touch.
Moving from IBM/AMD to Nvidia is an interesting choice, Nintendo has been working with them for years. Could mean there may not be any backwards compatibility with the Wii U... unless it has enough grunt to emulate all that PowerPC instructions on the Tegra.
