Very little chance it has backwards compatibility.Time to sell the Wii u I guess.
Does this have backwrds compat? Digital games of course.
It'll be awesome if the dock has a 1000 series GPU in it to give you 4k to a TV.
Just a thought, perhaps the 32GB is on the tablet while the dock section has say a 500GB drive in it and you just move titles from one to the other? As a high capacity drive to fit in the tablet would have to be an M.2 or something which would be really expensive.
What do you need the storage for?
XBO and PS4 need to install games locally due to the sheer amount of data on the disc it had to access quickly.
This is cartridge based. Access will be a hell of a lot quicker. I doubt there is a need to locally install
Very little chance it has backwards compatibility.
I kinda want one. I dont necessarily get truly portable with my handheld devices, but I do like to play them in bed or on the couch while others are watching something on TV. This would be a cool way to do that.
And as things will essentially combine the efforts of Nintendo's console and mobile teams, it should mean a whole lot more content. And should also be more attractive for 3rd party developers who essentially get to create a console and a handheld version of their game without any extra work.
Dont want to pay more than $300, though. At Day 1, I'd buy it. Otherwise I'll wait til it drops in price.
How many controller variations? Not super excited after watching the (quite boring I thought) video.
Yea, maybe:6.2" ipS screen? Looks waaaaay bigger than that in the video.
Downloaded games...
What a shame, another stupid gimmicky console. They are doomed. Very disappointed.
USB ports may accept external storage. Who knows what they're going to offer!
It's all very exciting!
