*** Nintendo Switch ***

and that's just a port!

To be fair, Zelda is too. The Switch launched without a single, big exclusive! We'll have to wait for Mario (sometime late this year?) for that.

Nintendo really do have history with sort of thing. Inexcusable not to have more of their own IP available at launch.

They didn't used to. They used to be the kings of launch titles. Although part of this is sour grapes as Zelda does look great :p Still, bit of a poor, rushed show from Nintendo.

Nintendo Switch launch games:
  • 1-2-Switch
  • Fast RMX
  • Just Dance 2017
  • Human Resource Machine
  • I Am Setsuna
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • Little Inferno
  • Shovel Knight
  • Skylanders: Imaginators
  • Snipperclips
  • Super Bomberman R
  • World of Goo
March/Spring:
  • Arms (Spring 2017)
  • Has-Been Heroes (March 2017)
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (April 28)
  • Puyo Puyo Tetris (Spring 2017)
  • Lego City Undercover (April 4)
People saying it launched with 1 game are wrong...1 big game was pushed (for obvious reasons) but yes, there are more games available for it.

Yes but hes going to quickly argue that Zelda came out at the beginning of March whilst MK comes out at the end of April.

Do you live in an alternate universe where the 28th April isn't almost 2 months after the 3rd March?

Stop being so damn defensive, I actually own a Switch, you don't.

I'm perfectly fine being slightly worried that Nintendo aren't releasing enough games for the thing!

Calm down dear.

I didn't actually disagree with you. I was pointing out to him what you were going to say.

The only people moaning about the lack of games are those not playing Zelda :)

I'm thinking of cancelling my Mario Kart pre-order as don't think I'll be done with Zelda by then!

If you want a decent racer, FAST RMX is getting good reviews and is pretty cheap.

I own a Wii U and the fact some of the games are ports/updates matters very little as so few people actually owned a Wii U so for all intents and purposes these are new games to most people. The only people getting screwed are Nintendo die-hards who'll buy everything regardless, lol.

Come on man. It's one thing to be happy with a console and another to defend it blindly. The launch lineup isn't good. Perhaps not for everyone - some may not have played World of Goo and Shovel Knight years and years ago (for £1.99 in the sales) - but most have. It's Zelda. How many units would have sold if that wasn't available at launch? Had the WiiU sold better (poor launch lineup and big game droughts - deja vu?), Switch sales would have been hit hard too as Zelda is so similar on both systems.

What people want are big hitting, Nintendo exclusives. And lots of them.

The selection of games is unprecedentedly poor compared to the past couple of generations. I'm actually a bit miffed there isn't any decent multiplayer game buy yet - I am not buying 1-2 switch. They really should have Mariokart out at the very least and that's just a port!

What like the PS4 which had possibly the worst launch line up ever.

So many sensitive snow flakes in here today. :p

AGAIN I didn't say the launch line up wasn't good or bad. I was pointing out that those claiming there is "only" 1 game, are wrong.

Good work captain obvious :p

For what it's worth, i'm as big a Nintendo fanboy as it gets. We want the same thing. Just launching with a port of a game that should have appeared on the WiiU years ago - which was certainly delayed so the Switch would have a decent launch title - got right on my ****. It's the people that stay loyal with Nintendo and support their consoles that get ****** the hardest.

Yeah we all lost out on the 3DS badly :p

Or the 10 exclusives I have sat on the shelf for the Wii U :)
