*** Nintendo Switch ***

In 100+ hours the only slowdown for me was big grassy areas, especially when you add some flame effects. None of it detracted from the game, my only complaint is that I can't wipe my memory and play it fresh all over again.
You can clear the memory in system settings can't you ?

So I had a battery percentage issue that was not going away despite attempting to recalibrate the battery a number of times :(

So I had to send my Switch back late last week. Am already having Zelda withdrawal. :'(

I think the patch has improved frame rates so that's good, I came across a forest area after the patch for the first time and found it to be quite choppy, can't imagine how it was before the patch!

Ive had a few areas of slow down pre-patch but nothing all that bad really, I've never had the full on freezes when fighting some people have reported, you would think it would happen to everyone.
I can confirm I've had several full on freezes when docked.

The frame rate didn't go lower before the patch, but the drops were more frequent.

For people who experience full on freezing, how hot do your Switches get?

Am wondering if its heat related..hmmm

It's related to a certain monster type, the larger Moblin enemies cause the freezing, something to do with their ragdoll physics.

Killing those is the only time I've ever experienced a freeze in the game. It's about a quarter of a second long and then the game resumes without any problems.

Was about to post this. 1 person posted a photo then a few replied saying they're having this issue?

I really am beginning to wonder how people are positioning their Switches.

Indeed, or how long you would have to play and in what tropical country to make it warp :)

The small issues always get overblown

Reminds me of the iPhone bending which was basically a non issue.

The Switch doesn't even tend to get that hot in the dock, at least in my experience. I'd like to see their home setup and dock position, perhaps they have it setup in some AV cupboard somewhere that's poorly ventilated.

Or in a furnace or something :3

A friend of mine used to complain that his PS4 was always really loud. He kept it shut in a cupboard under his TV...open the door, and et voila...it could breathe.

Who'd have thunk it eh?

Hahahaha have you seen how much that switch is bent ? That can't of happened from over heating ... it really is hilarious is the internet nowadays
