*** Nintendo Switch ***

Those things will come, I've owned all handhelds but the only Nintendo I've never owned is a SNES (blame the parents). I've decided to get one, I've put my "New" 3DS up for sale and I'm going to try and grab one when I'm on my honeymoon. You just can't beat Nintendo on their flagship products.. I'd rather a Nintendo for 1 Zelda/Mario game.. they are THAT good!

I dont own a PS4 or XO simply because there is not enough there to grab me, the games I'd find appealing are hidden away amongst the Tripple A's. Nintendo has got on board and it's coming across as a major part of the eco system they're creating. I'll be honest and say the UI is drastically different from what they've done and it threw me when I booted it up, but I can see it only as a positive as the W/U interface was just oblique and too complicated.

They're on a great path, I just hope developers now realise and release titles, rather than Another Rayman port and generic titles released 5 years ago.

I dont mind all these ports but not paying full whack for them
Rayman should be about £25, same as bomberman etc
Even payday 2 can see that being £40+
For a 2/3year old game... no chance

Payday 2 GOYE is £30 on steam so £40 on switch isnt an outside possibility. It would have to come with all the DLC included though.....

Something has gotta pay for that extra dev work.
Well it wont be me
I do not mind say £5 on top but when games like rayman legends average price depending on format is £12 (pc may be cheaper) i dont see where they are getting £40+ from for what is coming up to now a 4 year old game

I bought the career edition in 2013 from steam for £24
Now i know you mention the GOTY edition, but a lot of the dlc for payday 2 was naff

All this means for me is ill stick to key titles ive never played before like MK8 deluxe, i know its a port but paid £27 for it so im happy with that.
And other ports ill wait until they drop before i get them

Mr. Shifty devs have achknowledged framerate issues with the game and plan to patch it within 2-3 weeks. The PC version had framerate issues too initially.

Nice. I'll get it when it's patched then.

I'll be out of the country when MK gets delivered. Be a nice present when I get back though.

A new Nintendo console and they didn't even bother making a 'new' Mario kart? Other than Zelda the switch line up is so under whelming. Just a bunch of rehashed Wii u games.

To be fair, zelda was a wiiu title
But its such an amazing game

MK8, never played it on wiiu, so its a new game for me and the fact i can play it.... anywhere is brilliant

Im a bit so-so on the game line-up so far, looking forward to the new nba jam type game, might pick up splatoon2 then nothing i can see until mario oddessy.
But bought the switch at launch, only have one game and its zelda and its still keeping me entertained now.

Nintendo need to sort the arcade/vc out sharpish and also game pricing for me

Anyone excited for the Switch version of Ultra Streetfigher 2 ?

I'd like to play it again for the nostalgia factor and the updated graphics look nice. Also, online play would be awesome if they can get it working right.

Like most others I'm kind of irked by the price though. It's £35 on most sites just now but I'm hoping it'll drop by £5-10 before release otherwise I'll probably cancel the order. To me it feels pretty odd they bothered to put this out on a physical release when it would surely be far more suited as a £20 digital only title?

Yep, like most switch titles at the moment though.

Haha sure pal, sure thing ;)
But... he's sort of right? For now anyway. Until Mario Odyssey comes out it pretty much won't have a single exclusive AAA game to its name... well, maybe 'Splatoon 2'.

I saw the trailer for this and was surprised to see it had that 'slowdown' effect I remember on the MD... never realised that was an intentional feature? Can't believe the price... Capcom milking the lack of competition TBH.
