According to this, it's slower than a 3870 & GT in Crysis (medium settings):

Well well well, I'm not really impressed, little performance gain...

I think I'll just buy a GT, it's a hell to get one over here, and probably the same goes for the GTS when it releases, and I just don't think it's worth waiting for... :o

Retailers will be able to sell the GT for £180 + for a few months yet so think about it what reason would they sell the GTS for anything under £250 for?

Yea thats tweaktown, crysis gives slightly weird results in general it seems. Needs new drivers for this card?
Yeah, those results don't make a lot of sense.

It's a pity there isn't a benchmark of the later stages of the game, where all aspects of the card are tested. The early parts aren't really that stressful, so the benchmark isn't a true representation of how the game will perform (as we all found out when playing it).

Not much better then a GT, and certainly bang/buck is a lot lower. Might as well grab a GT and wait for the next killer GPU next year.

sooooooo then, looks like gtx is still top :D:p, dam this card is gonna last me a year and half the ways things going lol.

<leans back into chair with smug grin>

9800 still won't max crysis at a reasonable level of frames.

agreed, I was thinking that when I was playing the last few levels, even twice the frame rate wouldn't be enough, where looking at 2 generations of gpu's before Crysis starts getting real smooth.
