I'm saying next week mid week we may hear something about the 1080Ti from Nvidia or by the end of the month or September 1st..


Also have a funny feeling the 1080Ti is going to be a 8GB card with 3328 cores and same clocks as the Titan X Pascal for the founders edition (reference).

Whats that got to do with it? Thats just a competition thats been running for weeks now to win some 1080s.

Just been reading on another site that Volta launches 29/02/2017, this could be a game changer.

All that will happen is AMD will bring Vega, it will be around about as good as 1080 then Nvidia defend their honor with the ti. I will be sitting with a 1070 Evga FTW and wait for Volta.

Heavily hinting that there is something in the pipeline. Dunno if a 1080Ti would be faster than Pascal Titan like the previous gen cards were. Would Nvidia let that happen yet again?

^I'm with them. With supply issues and no competition from the other side I'm not sure NVidia will bother.It'll also depend on how well the 1080 and TX continue to sell and whether there's a market for something between them for say £849.

Who knows if/when the 1080Ti's will get released - after experiencing the benefits of the 980Ti, I'm really only interested in the 1080 if a Ti version is released.

Personally, I would like to see an MSI Lightning 1080Ti - then I would buy

Obviously, take with a pinch of salt, but interesting nonetheless. Frankly, I'm not too convinced. Why would you put in GDDR5 in a ti and have GDDR5x in the 1080 plain?

Anyway, thoughts?
