NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

Updated my GPU chart to show where the 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti fit in.

Even more clear now that the 3080 is the optimum card - at MSRP of course.

I've started looking into this.. I just dont know if I could move from my 34" ultrawide to a laptop screen and feel like I would loose immersion.
You can plug the laptop into your display anyway

You can get a lenovo Pro 5 for less than £1300 with rtx 3070

It will not be as powerful as a 3070 desktop though as least gaming wise

Personally I would stay away from gaming laptops as much as possible. I've had two over the years and have regretted it almost instantly both times. I find they just are prone to issues you don't get with desktops, and the performance never matches the spec.

i have got my kids a razer blade with a 2060rtx to game on, while not a beast to game with its does the job with the games they play, halo mcc, rocket league and fortnite. and at the price i got it made more sens in tring to source a 2070/3070 card to go in the pc build we were planing.

Did you see a group?

You are mate, it was posted in the members market pc hardware sales thread, it's still there and you will see it but they are now sold out.

Topic for the thread is :- A TRIO OF VOUCHER GRAPHIC CARD DEALS FOR LOYAL FORUM MEMBERS!

i saw the thread but i think gibbo mentioned there was going to be a specific forum being added so people with less than the required post for MM can get a chance of getting new incoming stock. which makes a lot of sense for a tone of folk on these forums

Connect laptop to your screen and away you go. I have considered this myself , do love my 34" ultrawide and could not play on a small screen for long.

Yes, but dedicated members to OCUK who shop with the site won't even see it because they have less than 1,000 posts. Members who been shipping since ten plus years. That is going to make these customers feel to switch provider or just put this store on the bottom of the list. If they are implying that they are not deserved customers.

You can get a laptop, but you can't game at 4k max settings for most AAA games. If you get one, get a warranty package as when they go pop it's very expensive to fix.

just because you have spent x amount at a shop doesnt give folk the right to effectively queue jump, i could get to a 1000 posts quite easily, but have decided to wait it out

systems with 3070s have been as low as 1000 quid recently. why buy a laptop just wait for deals. then buy em.

I currently have a alienwear 15r and it's been great for the 2 years I have had it

I have now ordered a legion 7 so plan is to move my PC with my 3080 to spare room and mine on it and use the laptop to game on
