You can plug the laptop into your display anywayI've started looking into this.. I just dont know if I could move from my 34" ultrawide to a laptop screen and feel like I would loose immersion.
Personally I would stay away from gaming laptops as much as possible. I've had two over the years and have regretted it almost instantly both times. I find they just are prone to issues you don't get with desktops, and the performance never matches the spec. You can plug the laptop into your display anyway
You can get a lenovo Pro 5 for less than £1300 with rtx 3070
It will not be as powerful as a 3070 desktop though as least gaming wise

Did you see a group?
You are mate, it was posted in the members market pc hardware sales thread, it's still there and you will see it but they are now sold out.
Topic for the thread is :- A TRIO OF VOUCHER GRAPHIC CARD DEALS FOR LOYAL FORUM MEMBERS!
Im so pleased it was though!!!kinda backs up everything I said about the RTX 3080 being £150-200 too cheap at launch

i have got my kids a razer blade with a 2060rtx to game on, while not a beast to game with its does the job with the games they play, halo mcc, rocket league and fortnite. and at the price i got it made more sens in tring to source a 2070/3070 card to go in the pc build we were planing.
i saw the thread but i think gibbo mentioned there was going to be a specific forum being added so people with less than the required post for MM can get a chance of getting new incoming stock. which makes a lot of sense for a tone of folk on these forums
Connect laptop to your screen and away you go. I have considered this myself , do love my 34" ultrawide and could not play on a small screen for long.
what a lot of these scalpers dont understand is ebay keeps records, in time the tax person will come knocking, it maybe yrs down the line, but eventually it will catch them uphttps://taxscouts.com/what-tax-do-you-pay-if-you-sell-on-ebay/
https://www.inn-control.co.uk/blog/...o-ebay-and-amazon-traders-who-fail-to-pay-tax
So I wonder if the Individuals who repeatedly buy cards then sell on ebay declare their profit to the tax man ?
