Nice lifting guys! Don't worry about bench press it's pretty common for it to be quite a bit lower than your other 2 lifts... unless your a mutant!

Shall also post the new year stats, though I am not entirely sure of my weight right now, no doubt slightly higher then before. Deadlift was done today, killed me for the rest of the session though:

First update for a while, got my bodyweight down to 112.5kg and 140kg bench...feels so great to be doing three plates a side, this is what I always dreamed of as I was always so weak on my top half compared to legs and back. :)

time to get involved, will quickly rise thanks to SL5x5. bench is a little advanced on the rest due to some time spent training with a bro earlier in the year before i got into doing things properly. Realistically, i need to shed at least 5kg as well.

Quick update on my totals...

Old

Batf1nk -------- 80+ / 110+ / 130(s)+ -------- [77.5] ---- 320

New

Batf1nk -------- 100 / 110+ / 140+ -------- [79kg] ---- 350

100kg bench was for 2 reps and the 140 DL was for 5 (no straps either!)

Good going man :)

Ta :D Reckon I've got another 10kg in me for 3-4 reps on the squat. Might give that a go Friday.

I had to de-load the bar during my DLs when I got 140 just so I could have 3 20kg plates either side. :o I had 1 20kg aside up to that point and just kept adding 5's and 10's until I got to 130.

Don't know about you, but we have hex plates so having 3-4 20kg plates on each side means it's less likely to roll when it you rest it on the floor between reps.
