**Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

have you got C1E & EIST enabled?
btw which exact CPU do you have as I seem to have missed that?

Yes they are still enabled, should give me any problems with it on should it?

Is there anything else that should be disabled on this board? I disabled on board sound as i'm using an Xfi.

My cpu is Q6600 G0

Hi guys,

I should be getting this board today.

What settings do I need to set in the BIOS for the Balistix PC5300 RAM? I heard you have to run them at 2.2v. How would I set it to 1:1, as well? Cheers.

no, but that is why you are seeing such a large voltage drop when idle & the vcore then increasing when put under load.

Ah I see, thanks for that.

Still at 1.5575 in bios and now idle is varying 1.490 - 1.520 and load is 1.470 - 1.490 so thats pretty good, i'm off to push for 3.8Ghz :D

edit - that was the worlds quickest prime fail :(

Took all of a few seconds for thread 4 to error with a fatal rounding error, ah well.

Wonder if anywhere accepts memory back if it dosent work in the motherboard??? cos Im really temped to get another 4gb in my system while prices are low. Cos in a year or so when I need another 4gb the prices will be like ddr1 memory... What do you think I sud do guys?

Im going to take the chance and order another "4GB (2x2GB) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-18" and keep everything crossed and hope my board dosent throw its toys out of the pram:eek:

My volts atm.......

Your MCH looks to still be on the lowest setting, so it'll likely have to go up two notches. The DDR2 Reference Voltage option will probably have to be set to +2% too.

Thanks Cob, when I get the mem, I will stick it in to see if it will just work, then if not I will up the volts. Whats is the MCH anyway?

The MCH (Memory Controller Hub) is what Intel calls the northbridge. It controls the FSB and the memory.

ICH (I/O Controller Hub) is what Intel calls the southbridge. It controls the PCI lanes (graphics cards, hard drivers etc).

Anyone got a Q9300/Q9450 with stock board cooling?

I've currently on 405 * 7.5x (3.05ghz).

CPU: 1.28V
MCH: 1.33V
CPU VTT: 1.18V
ICHIO: 1.5V
ICH: 1.05V
GTLREF: 67%

Anyone help me out with some settings to push the fsb further as i cant get 415 stable with current settings:( Looking for 430 fsb min really.

Concentrate on the MCH and VTT voltages. Your CPU voltage *should* be fine for 430x7.5.
