Did it! :)

Last season with them and won the FA cup, League and Champions league.

Makes 5 league wins in a row, 2 fa cup wins, 2 champions league wins, 1 league cup, 1 club world cup and 1 european super cup with them (well also the fa trophy and the BSP title but they were ages ago).



Matched Chelsea's record points total, ruined by a couple of terrible draws/losses.


anyway time to sleep/be unemployed in a game for a while till I get a team that covers either a. the other 4 champions leagues to win or b. looks fun!

It was amazing, I could have conceded less if they listened to me more when I was shouting at them (it was unacceptable to concede this season in my eyes as they back line had been playing together for at least 4 season).

Got to the end of my Bishops Stortford contract and found Montreal Impact have no manager!!!! :D Going straight for it to see if I can win the MLS...

On the plus side 2 of my weird favourite for no reason teams in a row!! :D Sint-Niklaas were my Belgium team of choice last fm and St Albans are my current local team, please make them good Murray!
 
I'm really upset, I'm having fun in the MLS with Montreal Impact (its a tough league to learn and I am nearly at the point I can fix it all), but Pep Gardiola took over Bishops Stortford AND BROKE ALL MY GOOD WORK :mad:

He's selling my beast Brazilian (who's got way too many goals) to pay for some trumped up pace merchant... :(
 
Well I have realised it's been about 4 hours of doing not a lot as the MLS draft stuff is the most fun thing in FM!!! I recommend everyone gives that bit a go at least...

It's like a mini game! You get picks based on past positions in the mls, so most your squad building comes from the drafts and normal player transactions is just getting the good bits sorted.

Got my eye on one or two development kids for the next draft soon, if I get lucky and can get them in! Hopefully they all want to come play along side the worlds best midfielder I got in on a free too!
 
It's official, I am obsessed with the MLS, completed an in game year over the last 5 days and it's been so much fun. The weird way transfers work in this league really add an extra interesting dimension to the whole affair, sort of like how important home grown is in Europe, but there's no money to blow on the ones you want so you have to be really tight with contracts instead.

Really attached to my Montreal Impact team now as well :)

Should be your dream team once, it's loads of fun, I'm planning to be Southampton in the future (nearly upped and took it a couple of times in the proper save)

Reminds me, got this 18 year old chap on a free to Montreal...



Looks pretty handy for a kid on a development contract.

Who did you buy Malt?? I have seen that contract stuff happen a few times, I think it's down to reputation inflation, so if you are the worlds best guy and splash the cash the game sort of knows (well the agents do) and they try and get the most. I have fought back a few times though and refused their demands causing the player to ditch the agent because they want to sign for me.

Bit of an odd cycle but pretty funny to see happen.

Oh the development contract is like a hot prospect status, except it doesn't count for your international slots or wage cap (I think) though you can only have 4 in the squad. It's a little messy but very helpful to bulk out the squad as he's much better than the usual rubbish you have to draft in on these contracts.

Murray it's back and nice one!
 
Personally Salustiano would be my choice, write of this season a little and give him 30 odd games to get good as he looks decent.

Having said that for immediate impact Kraft is a monster (and will do 5 good seasons no problem) or Aykel who should be a penalty saving god.

Rudd so so expensive but would be great, though you need good CB's in the air to compensate for his only ok aerial ability.
 
I go away for a few days and come to back to see Murray has finally gotten some promotions under his belt!! :p amazing stuff!
