How about basic marketing?

"Come to our IAE2954 FREE FLY event, where you can rent all these ships and test-fly them for FREE..... except all you can do is rent them, because NBIS elevators don't work no matter how many times you re-log, so no actual flying... like and subscribe, buy moar ships... Here's Tom with the weather".

I am going to jump on soon to try to see if it works on whatever server I jump on.

Is it that bad? Are you in game now?

I just left.
Occasionally the hangar lifts will work, but you'll then be stuck in an undocking queue that never resolves itself.
I had to basically rent a ship, then head outside and work my way around to the ground exit, then actually steal someone else's ship, before flying up to Tressler, just so I could spawn my ships there...

Yeah that sucks but that is specifically up to the transit refactor team, The sooner they finish the better.

Got into a good server where the elevators worked
 
Jump in with the lads here honestly. Play enough that can enjoy a ship like that if want but it depends on type fo gameplay course. So if you want combat and a place we all group up on for some gameplay makes sense. Otherwise a few smaller ships to do the different careers/missions like mining, salvage etc.

C2 for good cargo hauling, and a Constellation Aquilla for combat with store credit to spare.

Exactly something like that. Similar sized ships and pick ones like the design aesthetics of most. And hey there lots of times can switch them.

@Sega Mega Dave

If you join Pagen then there is fleet channel with images of our personal fleets on so you can get idea what on there. If you about over next day or two maybe see if you can get on with people and test them or just try them in game as believe all available to try at min.

Dave if you join the discord just let us know which name you use if it's different from on OCUK and we'll make sure you can see the various star citizen channels mate.
