There is no way it's as accurate as kB+m or allows for such fine movements either.
That said, not like it's night and day and way more fun :)
Looks like I'm waiting 3+ months potentially now lol. Thought it was like 1

I somewhat agree with accuracy, however consistent time on target is usually easier to achieve with sticks.

That being said I don't get them for PVP, I've zero interest in it to be honest - I like sticks or HOTAS for the general accuracy of flight and immersion it gives. KB/M works really well in the game though.

Spent a bit more time getting to grips in arena commander and I don't feel that it's more accurate than KB/M. Consistent time on target as Raumarik says is probably more the case, if anything.
Still not completely sold on having an Omni on the right. I think it may feel more natural (if perhaps less comfortable) to go conventional on that side, but I'd have to try it and compare.

Early days though and all that.

It's been well over a year since I had a HOTAS or did dual sticks so I''m hoping I can get use to it but fully expecting it to feel alien to begin with.

Also held off on mounts to see how I get on with my new chair as my seating position is higher than it use to be.. we'll see, can easily adapt the stick if needed.

Once ypou get use to it more, you will feel more comfy flying with sticks then keyboard and mouse. Especially dog fighting

Most HOSAS/HOTAS, VKB's included, Use hall effect so it's entirely down to personal skill, You can get silly accurate with these sticks.

There's a reason nigh on all the best stunt flyers and racers uses HOSAS in SC.

Really?
For identifying a single pixel on screen, I see that.
For being able to fly a set of complex manoeuvres at low level through say a canyon, that I'm less convinced about. A key factor that springs to mind being the length of throw on a good stick, and that the resistance, can help maintain a specific roll rate or similar. Lastly, I'm not aware of a force feedback mouse.

Just going by my own experience and the confirmation bias when I Google what is more accurate, hotas or mouse. I see an overwhelming majority towards mouse.
I'm also not aware of a force feedback mouse but I also wouldn't pay extra to have a force feedback joystick even if Space games did support it. Though I understand for playing flight sim games, it has use for realism etc.
I'm one of those people who can quite happily play a game with no vibration or feedback in a controller.

I found I became a hell of a lot more accurate in general flying and dog fighting using HOSAS, Still obviously KB+M for FPS stuff though.

Yeah I guess I'm talking about like when you're trying to keep your reticule on someone and you're kind of playing a FPS in space. For the rest of it I'm not not disputing anything :)
