Well, if their are people out there to pay crazy sums for 'internet ships' then fair play to the developers. Obviously a market for it!

And yes, you're all welcome to spend your money on whatever the hell you want to. No matter how crazy :D
 
It a good question, I really can not put any value with owning special items on the web that cost real money, just down to the DEVS being able to wipe out your virtual asset in a whim.

However its your money and it is spare cash so what.

What a lot of people fail to realise is that are several multi millionaires as backers. this is pocket change to them, I know two guys in this category who have put in far more than that either on their own accounts or by gifting gift cards etc to others. I also know many people who have made a mint off star citizen due to rich folks throwing money at the grey market for "rare" items, which is common in every game even older ones like counterstrike.

Lost in the mind of Chris roberts. The recent showcase didn't fill me with hope were be seeing it even next year. That was some buggy ass fps sapping gameplay. They talk about optimisation but they keep on adding more stuff that stress the engine even more and they still haven't talked much about how they are going to resolve serverside processing restrictions.

At this stage I believe elite will reach its long term plans way before SC has even got it a **** together.
 
I dont' think it's meant to be an insult, Hambag's PC was still processing his comment when he hit post, lack of CPU cores can cause this sort of corruption..

Aye.... you don't really notice it over the course of 4 years but when it comes back in a lump like that it certainly makes a point. Though as i have said, i will certainly end up reinvesting when a substantial jump in what we have comes.

We have had the same systems and playable area for over 2 years now. I certainly still believe in Chris to deliver the best possible experience i just want to light a fire under his bottom and poke him with a sharp stick to incentivise haste.

This is true haha. Shame i don't work at alliance anymore! would go sleep in the bosses back office again for a few weeks and get myself a javelin then tell him to get ***** again.
