*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Final boss is much easier that that - someone goes in, gets locked in and gets killed by the boss. Everyone else stay outside. Boss eventually kills player in the chamber, warps outside and gets killed much more quickly by the remainder of the team :)

Edit: Queue :(

So anyone left on Tombe of Freedon Nadd?
Lol the beyond the clock forum is pretty much dead well for black sun pirates that is.

Don't read too much into activity over there - TDR is going from strength to strength, and I haven't seen much posted on the guild forums.

our way is so much better :D

you forgot to add that the person who was the sacrificial lamb has time to come back and help out, unless you have apem there pwning the boss @ lvl 45

lol, that was fun :)

Well I'm stuck...Had to go back to Nar Shaddaa as part of my BH story quest, have to go down an elevator but the moment I get off I instantly die! I've tried 5 times now but the same thing happens, sent a ticket but I won't hold my breath...can't progress until it's fixed.:(

Had that happen to me a few times too in my sith warrior main storyline - then it randomly didn't happen. A really weird bug. Keep trying is all I can suggest :(

It isn't the 'main' OCUK guild but the Republic guild on Frostclaw is shaping up very nicely so if anyone fancies a change - you know what to do.

Frostclaw seems a great server too.

Anyone rolling a Republic character will find a really friendly OcUK guild on Kellian Jarro too :)

Frostclaw is an excellent server though - happened to end up in a world boss op yesterday with someone I had added from the first day of play (Levan) and hadn't seen since! Pure chance :) - in my excitement I accidently summoned the world boss and had to run away pretty quickly (with everyone laughing at me) :D

Don't think I will touch the republic for a long time (Jedi Scum!), but when I do I will be torn between the two guilds!

Excuse my ramblings but I am at work no one in and just had a coffee :P

Last night I had one of the most fun Hutt Ball games till date (despite the fact I normally loath it) my brother forced me for one before he hit the hay, him a stealthy 21 Sith me a BH Advanced Prototype, straight off the bat kill two republic scum before they even get to the middle and for the next 5 minutes become their healers new worst enemy, killing him and legging it a few times with 10% health heal up and return, win a one on one with a level 50 Merc BH, outsmarting him and interrupting his casts which left me walking away with 5% heath but standing, healing up and starting to chase their healer who runs away towards the entire group (which I did not know) after finishing him off I look up and see EVERY single Republic player running towards me and blasting off all ranged abilities possible , on goes shield, healing DOT and Hydraulic Overrides and ZOOM off I run sneak the sprint in the pit and the healing buff in the corner not even looking back surviving and inadvertently assisting in our 5th score.

Scored a point some where, passed to score a point and just made mince meat of anyone in my path, played as bait in the middle for a bit with my stealthy brother punishing everyone who dared to attack while I kited them around with a smirk on my face.

Had a great laugh and will be doing loads more in the coming days to make sure I have enough points for all the level 40 PVP gear which is PVE gear anyway, both DPS and Tanking :D

Level 38, enough credits from my riding skill, self crafted speeder in cargo hold and just itching to level, why did I agree to work this week arrghhh

Ok ramblings over, just thought I’d share.

TDR For The WIN!!!

Sounds like fun

Also, +1 on the "TDR For The WIN!!!" :D

hmmm what to go at level 10 sith assassin or a sith sorceror, any opinions? want to be dps

Most people seem to have rolled sorceror - don't know if this is because it is better or not, but it certainly seems to be an effective class in groups.

Im not sure about the crafting side though, is this a necessity in the game?

Not sure if it is necessity, but certainly a good way to make money.

Think the Sith Sorcerer is going to be the overpopulated class :( Although im hoping that the majority will go dps not healing on my server! :D

It already is, there are so many of them everywhere. Fine by me, means as a tank I am always in demand

My alt will probably be a sorcerer.

How come they are so popular anyway? I remember them being a little OP early in the beta. Is that still the case?

Anyone else glad there aren't any achievements :)?

There kind of are with the codex, but I like that it isn't too forced.

On Alderaan now, and nearly level 33. I could easily move to the next place, but am loving the story - the typical MMO grind is so well hidden with this game. So far, I think Alderaan is one of my favourite places.

Have finally started to make some decent cash on the exchange through biochem crafting :)

No idea how I am going to get to level 50 once I start back to work, considering it takes me a day to get about 1 1/2 levels - gf distractions don't help :p

Can the members of TDR be sure to register in the OcUK guild portal at http://www.beyondtheclock.com/ - will make it much easier to organise raids etc. rather than using this giant thread for everything!

This might be old news to some, but it was a good read -
http://www.geek.com/articles/games/...ady-logged-60-million-in-game-hours-20111228/

Those 1 million+ players have already managed to log 60 million in-game hours. During that time 260 million quests have been completed, 44 million PvP battles have taken place, and 3 billion NPCs have been killed. BioWare’s game has also managed to create 850,000 Sith Warriors and 810,000 Jedi Knights, suggesting the dark side may be winning.

3 billion NPCs already :D

How are all the other OcUK/friends guilds getting on? Wish we could all have been in the same one :( - or at least on the same server!

These diplomacy missions have screwed up my light / dark side a bit. Currently showing in game:

Light Side: 4992.1000976563
Dark Side: 150.00009155273

Tooltip is huge!

Mine too :( - apparently it sorts the decimal out once it gets to 10000. Still, it also means I will never get the purity achievement though :(

Got work to do this morning :( - so won't be on until later today.

I only got the game yesterday so I can't say it's always like this, but I joined the guild I initially went for in the deployment as it was the only one that suited my preference of Empire on a PvP server - The Black Sun Pirates on Tomb of Freedon Nadd (probably spelt that wrong) - and I must say it was incredibly quiet. The server itself is incredibly populated (well over 100 people on Hutta) but there were no more than 9 guild members on at any time between 5pm and midnight, and only a total amount of 40ish in the guild altogether. Did I simply manage to pick the quietest OcUK guild there is?

There are a few more members than that in TDR on Frostclaw, but the problem is that we are all split across the servers because of queues, PvP/PvE and Republic/Imperial preferences. It is a shame that we couldn't have all been in the same place :(

There were only about 4 servers that werent completely full last night, so went for some random one, dont even know which one it was. Hopefully that one stays quite quiet, for the first while at least not queuing is more important to me than having a lot of people on the server, as im not too bothered about teaming up when im low leveled and becuase I dont get a heap of time to play then im going to be low leveled for a while yet.

Luckily, I haven't had to queue for days on Frostclaw :)
