Yeah, but equally I'd take the well reviewed Zipp rims over the pacenti which I can find very little info about. Meh! Think Pauls suggestion of chinese carbon rims on some Hope SCS hubs is the best option. Really would like warranty on them though!Strada are doing an SCs-compatible hope/pacenti set. It's £600, but i'd take hope hubs over zipp ones every single time.

Haha, I'm not allowed! Although I'm semi considering N-1 so I can then justify N+1 afterwards... That's about the only way I'll get my S3...Sounds like a lot of work when you could probably just n+1 the problem away!
Another thought I'd had, although I'd want warranty on the rims which would ideally mean using a UK/EU reseller and not many of them seem to just supply rims to end users (with warranty)...Roady, can't you get some from China or at least the rims and then get them built up? get 2 sets of aero wheels for £600.
Toast & beers followed by cakes and no coffee?! Weirdo's!
Roady, you worry too much, you don't ride seriously enough to worry about warranty. Maybe less time posting more time pedalling
I got some very minor fatigue in the arch of my foot towards the end but I think I need to play with the angle a bit but it wasn't uncomfortable.
I've been experimenting with pre-ride food recently. My theory is, your glycogen stores should already be full (or reasonably so) from your previous meals so I'm not totally sure a high carb breakfast is necessary. I've started having a mix of eggs, ham, cheese and avocado and then fuelling my rides from 90 mins on with carb based food. I find this avoids a post breakfast crash and keeps you feeling full for more of the ride, and doesn't seem to impact performance. Whether there's any science behind this I don't know, but there's only so much porridge you can eat and it seems to work for me!
Anyone got any aloe?Roady, you worry too much, you don't ride seriously enough to worry about warranty. Maybe less time posting more time pedalling
You'll soon get to grips with it, although even after riding clipless for many years I still have a 'bad' day and can't clip in for toffee! A useful skill (I picked up when commuting in start/stop traffic) is being able to pedal on the underside of the pedal so I'm under no pressure to clip in until I'm ready or up to speed (can even do it stood on uphill junctions). Marks the underside of your pedals and shoes, but I'll take that for the increased safety.Only issue I'm having is clipping back in when riding off at a junction, partly because I feel pressured knowing there's a car behind me or a few cars at a junction so I get a bit nervous but I'll get there.
Couldn't sound more northern if you tried!I'll ride to work with no breakfast, have a roll 'n' bacon or two, have two rolls and pie for lunch

Looks like your anger assisted your speedI'm off out for a quick few miles as the kids are driving me round the bend, i'll even brave the wind and the fading daylight to get the **** out.
