With is with flck @ 1900 and ram @ 3800
 
The difference is the ram speed of 3800Mhz and FCLK of 1900Mhz i suspect. My memory is also 2x16GB of dual rank B Die. I can improve TRFC a bit but my other timings are all maxed out and lower will cause errors in memtest. I think TRFC can be dropped to 288-285, but i have not spent a lot of time testing it yet.

Previously i have 4x single rank sticks of B-Die and was able to tighten those timings up further.

Think I'm going to live with my 129seconds with 3600.
Got trfc down to 288. Apparently trc is a multiple of it.

I'm 790% through my 1000% hci test.

It seems plenty fast enough for what I do which is game.

Yep the difference in real world is really small from what i have seen.

There is a way you can possibly run your ram at 4000mhz providing the mem controller can handle it, there is a setting in the bios......I'm running an MSI board, so on my board it's called uclk, set that to x2 and then hard set your fclk to 1000mhz, along with your ram to 4000mhz, this runs the fabric in a 2:1 mode, it does have some performance impact, but if it performs better than running 3600mhz 1800mhz fclk then it's still a win.

If I leave everything on auto 4000 memory works but I'm sure what fclk it's using, I'll have to check that.

I don't think there is a 1000 option in my bios, seems to skip that one.

Well not much I can do about that without spending time tweaking memory settings, or buying new memory which I'm not going to do

Not much difference between 1000/4000 and 1800/3600 though.

I also tried auto voltage and other then raising temps 9C the results were basically the same as manually setting them to 1.35V

EDIT: Someone mentioned using a offset earlier.. would this be a good idea? what would be recommended there?

I run an offset. Just seems to knock a few degrees off at idle and a little at load, mainly cos is doesn't boost as much for as long.

What is your easy mode time score in the dram calculator?

Yes thats about normal, loads of people say dont run 2:1 fclk, but through testing, I ive found myself it doesnt make much difference, as its performing a little better than 1:1 and you have your ram at full speed, I would leave it like that.

Yeah i did read that, will certainly test it and see if it makes a difference.

Seems like a lower TRFC gives you better memory reads, so assuming there is not much difference i may end up leaving it at 285 though.
 
OK solved the RAM problem. It started when I used Ryzen Master to increase the RAM speed without the voltage being increased and after searching it appears that whenever you alter the memory from default (even using DOCP when RM isn't installed) it reverts to settings from RM and fails. I reflashed the bios and it is working fine now. My 3200 RAM is running happily at 3600 although I haven't had time to dial in the timings yet. A quick and dirty overclock all core to 4.4 at 1.3625V gave me a CB20 score of 7660 with top temps of 81c, 4.3 completes Cinebench at 1.25 scoring 7457. I'm impressed.
