I think they meant how much for regular HD channels in your package. Regular as opposed to UHD or SDDo they still do normal HD ? the last time I tried to get HD they tried to push me on Q and they no longer did HD thats when Q came out.

They are part of the automatic compensation scheme agreement. So I’m pleased with that.
Hmm, you may have signed up to a 24 month contract, plus they will most likely increase the price twice during that time.Having just moved to the UK, we got Sky setup, with their broadband.
They messed us about with getting the fiber installed (well, open reach did) and getting the Sky activated and missed an appointment. They’ve given us £90 off our next bill to say sorry. Didn’t even complain. So I’m pleased with that.
Our normal bill will be £97 monthly. Sky Q. HD is costing us £8, we have kids and sports but not cinema. Don’t think that’s too bad. We will review it after 12 months if it’s worth keeping. We have the Netflix included too. So, lots of choice.

I’m expecting to pay £100 a month now, but if I sign up for 24 months I’m going try and get them to keep the price constant. I feel I’ve got a difficult couple of weeks ahead trying to play the game.
Sky Tenure: 23 years Customer since 31/01/2001
Now have been doing deals for Sport for £20, I got it for £26 for 6 months a month or two back but my mate got the £20 deal, so worth keeping your eye out, rather than the £15 day sub.
You just don’t get regular adverts on the on demand stuff, but you still see adverts for Sky products/shows etc instead of regular adverts. With Live TV you obviously still get regular adverts.Hopefully someone knows enough to confirm or correct my research.
Nowtv sports is £35 (discounts are available)
Ultra boost is £9
Netflix top package is £18
So if I signed up to nowtv, I would get sports in uhd on 3 devices at once with uhd Netflix for £62, which doesn’t seem too bad to me.
The trouble is we do like to record stuff and skip the commercials. Does the ultra boost allow you to skip commercials on everything, how does that work?
Thanks
Great deal especially with 4k just being introduced into the boostsYes I got the sports £20 a month deal also, it was for a year. I only watch NFL and get the NFL gamepass which is way better as I can pick which games I want to watch as long as it's not on Sky live
Well I would check that carefully.Well, that was unexpected!
My contract (and so discounts) are up next month. Haven't gotten round to calling to play the cancellation game yet, but I've just had an email through advising they've extended the discounts for another 12 months, with no new contract
Well I would check that carefully.
I received the following email;
The offers on your account will end soon so your bill will increase, but don’t worry, we’ve given you new discounts to minimise any impact.
We always strive to give you the best value — which is why we’ve automatically added the new 12-month discounts to your account.
You don’t need to do a thing and there’s no new contract.
However when i check my estimated future bill it goes up £20 / month.
I was annoyed enough when they did their price rises last time.
My contract started at £45 /month.
They put it up to £51.50 and now they want me to pay £71.50 / month
Yea i don't think so.
So only sport I wish to follow is F1.
Which means F1TVpro i guess. If anyone has experience with this and knows which country is best to purchase and stream from please let me know.
I assume they would all have an english speaking commentary available or am I hoping for too much.
