Summer Transfer Thread 2019

Some people make bad decisions in their life, we can't all be perfect. Michael Owen is now remembered as an ex Stoke player the poor guy.

Barcelona and Real Madrid both have such pulling power, that when they come in for a player there's not much the current team can do, except hope they get a decent price.

Liverpool got stung twice with the 2 I mentioned leaving on a free. They made sure they got paid for Suarez and Coutinho!

I still think Lukaku will leave, I guess Inter might come back with a better offer now. W.R.T Dybala if his demands are too high then I'm happy we pull the plug. Seen some suggestions we might still purchase Mandzukic. Wonder if we have any other targets at this point, seems like Fernandes is not a target, just Sporting trying to sell him by naming us a lot.

What's the view if Dybala comes back, accepts lower demands and some how gives the impression that he wants to play for us?

Im not sure I want him anymore. The only reason you would change your mind is because you think you can do a Di Maria and use united as a stopgap. Top class player but if he doesn’t want to come I don’t want him. We have too many players who give too few ***** as it is.

Like an old flame now past her prime we know how this goes. Like Bale Dybala turned his nose up at us and when things go sour the last thing to do is come to thier aid. I am chuffed we showed dignity and with Maguire and Bissaka we

My perfect window would be play Inter and Juventus off for Lukaku and look for Ronaldo or cash about 70m no less either. Truth be told finding who to uy next is not easy. And i think we should not replace Lukaku either. Get him sold and then get rid of Sanchez!

Mignolet off to Club Brugge for €7m rising to €9m. Not sure whether it's a surprise or not - I fully expected him to leave earlier in the window but all the talk coming out of the club was that they wouldn't sell him. He got a lot of unfair stick over the years imo - he was far from a terrible keeper but unfortunately he wasn't an absolute top class keeper either and certainly not suited to playing the ball out of the back.

A good keeper, but not a great one.

Adrian to replace Mignolet it seems. Not sure he's as good a keeper but probably more suited to how we play. Hopefully he never has to play though.

Can never understand it when good keepers move to become a backup. Do they not actually want to play. GK is the one position where you hardly ever have to cover an injury. He will get a few league cup games at most.

Has anyone got Steve Parish's email address? I think he may have forgotten that the transfer window closes on Thursday...! :(

Finally got an official announcement on Maguire. Was starting to think we had fudged this up somehow after all the faff that we love to indulge in as a club. I know United news sells papers but we have got to be the worst club at signing players.
