(Im ignoring Reina as its still possible Liverpool could earn a CL spot, although unlikely)

I think 5th and back into the Europa League might be enough to keep Reina for 1 more season, but if we dont then continue to improve next season and get back into the top 4 then I can see him definitely moving at that point. I think it will largely depend on whether he thinks that the best chance of moving is now rather than next year, just incase all the teams have their goalkeepers sorted by next year and no longer want him.

I do, my dads David Moyes so I'm ITK regards Everton. So far I have nothing to report. We are hopefull of a Triple club cards scheme in the summer so we can cash in the vouchers for Sid who works the tills. He's a tidy 5 a side player on a wednesday night.

Hoping to play him for 12 months as a bit part player and sell him to fergie for 25 million.

You sound like you're at your wits end with the toffee's mate.

No cash no hope?

Fletcher isn't a defensive midfielder

Because he is such a creative attacking force going forward?

Even if United did get De Rossi I think another more creative midfielder would be needed because a player like fletcher although hes good at getting possesion when he goes forwards he seems to always chose the wrong options.
He needs someone who he can unload the ball to when he wins it and will do something with it really.

If he's worth it or not, if they can grab a silly cash sum for Rodwell, they should. Managers really do seem to forget this, quite a lot of clubs buy in cheap players on great deals and let them out to another club who pays a heck of a lot more. Arsenal, though we should never, ever have sold Diarra, made cash in the deal, Pompie made a buttload(of which Arsenal got some I believe but not a huge amount).

Everton have Rodwell to cash in on his potential and the sooner they do that the more they'll get frankly, Arteta could potential fetch a decent price, getting older and only had one "great" season. Cahill would fetch a decent price, but given the reliance on his goals, not sure that would be a worthwhile deal, Jagielka, 15-20mil maybe to a top club if he gets back to his best, maybe 10-15mil if lucky if he doesn't. Baines could potentially go for a lot.

Ultimately if Everton are willing to be a bit aggressive, sell some "stars" and get good deals in the transfer market they could do quite well.

Some managers are completely willing to do that, others aren't, and obviously its a risky game, but I can't see much other choice for Everton. Buying a Fellani for "big" money isn't working for them. Loads of uber cheap players and hope you get a couple decent enough players in amongst them, rinse repeat.

Nah I'm not that fussed. Each year as more and more of these overpaid ****s end up in the papers for being a **** I've lost a lot of interest.

I'm more than happy for us to buy in coleman for 60k while laughing at teams for spending 20 million on a crock like lescock. A man who didn't even pass the everton medical so we got him cheaper. Moyes and the team are better at finding a coleman or Arteta or Cahill etc than letting him waste money on the big dumb belgian or Yakubu.

We play better as a team without those charlies and have players that want to be there.

Can't do anything without some major money.

Hopefully some big clubs will go bust soon.

That's part and parcel of being an Evertonian ;)

I'd rather be aware of how crap we are than be deluded :p

With the amount of forwards Utd could have available next season, are Owen or VN worth having at all though? (Rooney, Chicharito, Berbatov, Welbeck, Macheda) Would prefer to give youth a chance

Macheda can't hit a barn door at Sampdoria, Welbeck will be used as a pawn to get Henderson or Rodwell by the looks of things.

gallas signs an extension to 2013. so glad this has happened, he's been a great asset, worth it for the goal line clearance in the cl purely.

Yeah, never really made the grade at us. Not always for the lack of chances but we did have a certain Henry and Berkamp in front of him. A mid table striker at best, constantly injury prone unlike the pair in front of him.

Wenger eventually got rid. Ah the good old days.

Lehmann also makes his debut in that aforementioned game.

Chelsea really need a creative central midfielder and two world class wingers. A bit fantasy football, but:

Neymar (LW)
Alexis Sanchez (RW)
Javier Pastore (CM)

Would be nice :).

£80m+ right there I wouldnt be surprised

Sanchez and Pastore should go for silly money given the interest thats supposed to be surrounding them
