Dein introduced Stan Kroenke to the club, but Dein sold his shares to Red and White holdings, or better known as Usmanov. He's a murdering rapist, so I'd rather he wasn't in charge of my football club. He's a Man Utd fan too.

Admirable but I think football club wise you would have had far far more investment with the Russian trying to spend :D

Resorting to making things up again Tom? Is it because I brought up your incredibly stupid posts about Young? :p

Where did I say Rafael should have been sent off for the challenge on Meireles at OT? Are you getting it confused with the disgraceful challenge he made at Anfield, which iinm you claimed wasn't 2 footed or off the ground?

Rafael should have been sent off at least once (2 footed lunge on Lucas at Anfield) against Liverpool last season, if not twice (the 2 footed tackle on Meireles in the FA Cup).

:)

Blackburn have signed the Striker Jordan Slew from Sheff Utd for £1m.

Gutted. :( He's daft though! He won't get any games with them for atleast 2 years! Should have stayed with Sheff Utd for another season.

Dunno, their strike force is pretty poor!

Im fuming about meireles tbh - you would not see fergie sell to any of his rivals - it should not be done. Why are we going for a british dominated midfield? It seems silly.

We need technically gifted players in our midfield, and a bit of continental flair to mix it up - meireles and aquaman would have provided that. You could see the impact raul had against arsenal. hell he even scored against chelsea last season!!

Goal scoring midfielders can make the difference in the league - especially if you want to challenge for anything they are essential!!!

About two years a go when the Arsenal board where anti Usmanov he offered the club something like 60 million to spend on players, but Arsenal said 'No Thanks'.

It was around the time of the famous 'We dont like he's sort' from Peter Hill-Wood.

So hang on have we still got 7 strikers?? Amazed we didn't loan anyone out

There was a lot of talk of Macheda going to Newcastle or Sunderland which would have done him the world of good. Shame neither move materialised as he wont get games at OT.

Having said that I'm more disappointed we didn't get rid of PIG and Gibson considering it's been made blatantly clear to both that they're not wanted

"If not twice" as it was a borderline decision, I've not said one way or the other that he should have gone for that challenge. Even Utd fans admitted at the time though that had there been any contact he would have been in big trouble for that challenge.

LOL you've still got serious butt hurt over that haven't you. You're a bit like Baz but he's still whining about Rafael not being sent off for a challenge that didn't even warrant a free kick :o

In case you've forgot pre Dalglish Liverpool on the whole were poor, regardless of that he scored 5 in 6 and whether or not they were winning goals or not is irrelevant, when Liverpool started playing well it's no coincidence it happened when Meireles started playing well also.

And while Adam may not pull out of tackles he will waste possession constantly trying to play hollywood passes left right and centre. Adam and Henderson had good games at home against a poor Bolton side. They both on the other hand had utter turd games away to Arsenal against an average Arsenal side. You're right Meireles is a different type of player to Adam and Henderson, he's different because he's better than both.

You could argue that, you'd be wrong but that's your prerogative.

Well as for the first part, i should stop reading your posts there as that is one of the more retarded things i have read on here, it was a two footed jump that could have caused serious injury had he not pussyd out.
But i suppose if Gerrard threw a punch and someone dodged it, it doesn't warrant a thing as it made no contact.

It is more no coincidence we actually started scoring goals due to the fact we didn't play hoofball, and Raul played the role which these chances would fall too, much like Gerrard when we played good football.
Also the fact we weren't shipping a goal every ****ing second because Woy didn't like our best defender.

Both of the players are new, settling into the team, it isn't surprising Henderson in particular has looked better in each match he has played, Raul has been with the team for a year, took him what, 6 months to get his goal?
Yeah you're right, he is better at both at being a certain type of player, a luxury player who has little discipline and pussys out when you need him.
Also his shooting was ****ing hilarious before January, and his performances dried up quickly after his 5 goal in 6.
Good player, currently better than Henderson, not better than Adam in his position and thankfully we have someone like Adam willing to play these ambitious passes, unlike our previous hoofball. And Henderson looks as if he has all the tools to be a better player.
Also you could argue Raul had a good sub appearance against a poor deflated Arsenal side, but i suppose that'd be my prerogative and i'd be wrong, because it is not your completely logical opinion.

Whilst I agree you should have kept Meireles I wouldn't worry about him going to Chelsea they've got bigger issues at the moment ones that Meireles alone wont be the answer to

agreed i dont think chelsea will compete for the title this season - but i expect LFC to be challenging them for 3rd, and hence we should not have let him go

then he can go off and become a plumber or something.

:D
