lol at Scott Dann... didn't know who Samba was, and when asked about interest from other clubs and why he chose Blackburn he completely skipped over it

"If not twice" as it was a borderline decision, I've not said one way or the other that he should have gone for that challenge. Even Utd fans admitted at the time though that had there been any contact he would have been in big trouble for that challenge.
At least we shipped out Bessone. That's like a new signing.
My Spidey sense is telling me this is something I should leave alone lets just say that the should have been sent off at least once and the 2 footed tackle on Meireles in the FA Cup lines appeared to suggest you thought he should have gone for both. If that's not the case then
I felt a bit sick when I saw a photo of him holding our shirt up, I wouldn't have wanted him back last year, let alone this!
As for people jumping at arsenals throats saying our purchases were desperate etc.
As i said all the players will of been on arsenes radar for quite a while.
Linked to arteta a year ago

Well as for the first part, i should stop reading your posts there as that is one of the more retarded things i have read on here, it was a two footed jump that could have caused serious injury had he not pussyd out.
Also you could argue Raul had a good sub appearance against a poor deflated Arsenal side, but i suppose that'd be my prerogative and i'd be wrong, because it is not your completely logical opinion.
If I thought he should have gone for both I would have simply said he should have been sent off twice. Is that not pretty easy to understand?
are arsenal fans happy?
genuine question.
defence wise you lost, clichy, eboue, traore but brought in santos and mertesacker, i would say that's okay but you guys really should have brought in a world class keeper too that would have made your back line competitive with top 4 teams.
midfield wise you lost nasri, fabregas and denilson and brought in arteta and benayoun. you guys really needed to make a big signing or 2 in midfield to make up for the loss of nasri and fabregas, but you seem to have went for the cheap option. you guys did okay with arteta and benayoun, but i reckon you could have done with a defensive mid too, you should have tried to get hargreaves on a free since you dont like spending money and love crocks.
forwards you never really lost anyone but brought in gervinho, chamberlain and park, the only one which looks any good is gervinho, but he will need time to gel. tbh why not just spend the money you spent on these 3 on 1 player, a player which you badly need, a proven goalscorer.
i dont see the logic in spending little amounts here and there, they needed to make big signings, but went for 2nd rate or even 3rd rate players or youngsters instead.
they have done okay, i think their biggest weak points are, GK, defensive mids and strikers. i can see them failing to score in a lot of games where a world class striker would have and letting in goals where a decent keeper and defensive mid would have been a great help.
arsenal are now no longer a well secure top 4 team, they should place 4-6, depending on how well they do compared with tottenham and liverpool, but why not spend that extra bit of cash on quality to secure 4th rather than risking it on youngsters or 2nd rate players?
if they get a few injuries in midfield i can see them crumbling.

I'm obviously not an Arsenal supporter but with Szczesny in goal now I wouldn't be worried in that area of the pitch and up front was the one area where Wenger needed to stop spending money on. Is Van Persie not a proven goal scorer? I know he's not the most reliable injury wise but given the system Arsenal play there's no point having another striker of RVP's calibre sitting on the bench every week (nor would you get one to)
